ahh u just started Eternum? i recommend playing Once In A Lifetime 1st , if u can even stop playing Eternum at this point lmaooBut this is not a game, it's a masterpiece, on the site I had played "milfy city", then on steam "Treausure of Nadia". But this project eats them up. Great plot, puts you in a good mood. I relived the intro of FVIII for a moment (as in the screenshot). Mixed with memories I had of 80 levels on Metin2 and other MMORPGs when I was a noob at becoming a player helping new ones. And I'm just at the first moments of this jewel. Really great work, I didn't expect so much quality in just one game.

OiaL goes way too hard into off-the-wall. Beyond funny and over the line into plain silly. Eternum is a much better read IMO.

its a good game i played it before Eternum came out so its been years since i played it but it was good i liked it had to play it twice tho for people who know if u mess up the ending lmaooOiaL goes way too hard into off-the-wall. Beyond funny and over the line into plain silly. Eternum is a much better read IMO.

OiaL was a great game that had its charm. I think many consider it "off-the-wall" because it isn't as long as Eternum and doesn't have the type of build-up this game does. OiaL was shorter.
I kinda feel like OiaL was like... a build-up to Eternum. Not a prequel, but like... the dev was able to do it and be like... cool, now I have the skills to do Eternum.
This is gonna sound crazy, but I hope Eternum never ends, or at least takes forever to end. I am so engrossed in the story, and the character development is bar-none.
So many devs could learn from Caribdis. I prefer these longer updates with hella-high quality over monthly drops with nothing to offer.

Eternum will probably end by 2027 or 2028. And I'm sure his 3rd game will be even better!

No. Off-the-wall has has nothing to do with its length. Regular games had comic relief, OiaL needed serious relief. I did make it to the end, but I felt the quality nosedived or maybe I just ODd on random goofiness about the time MC went to prison not that it wasn't funny, just too much of a good thing. Eternum does a much better job of keeping my interest up - because there's a story that's going somewhere other than Mike randomly showed up and stabbed all your problems away.

The whole Dalia weightlifting segment was a bit cringe & woke (especially her winning against a dude 6 pounds heavier than her in a single strike lol) and so is the occasional simp dialogue like "you're the greatest I would do anything for you omg you're a goddess" but the rest of it is pretty great. Especially the heist, that was pure comedy. I also liked the general plot of this one. Made getting immersed really easy.

Using woke as a pejorative, is a sign of being too stupid for one's own good.
I just finished playing the update and I must say...HOT DAMN...what a ride, everything was top-notch, Cari and the team really know how to do top of the line shit.
Just one small thing that bothered me was the lack of "slice of life" so to speak. Major developments are brushed off as offscreen events (i.e. Orion telling the girls about his newfound power, the aftermath of Nancy-Nova threeway fun, no Penny development from last update, etc.) I feel a couple of renders exploring these plot lines and how each character react to them goes a long way in providing more meat to the story and the characters' progression, I feel this was better handed in previous episodes but in this one we jumped from one big event to the other without caching a breather, which I sorely missed, to be honest...
