The only thing that really surprises me is that the branching has more votes...
I have nothing against branching and Separate choices, but the thing is that this is Eternum, we are all so used to the harem-style plot and light atmosphere that the branching really caught some of us off guard...

It's like if I had to choose between a scene to go to cute Luna or to pretty Penny? Then one of them will be left without attention which partially contradicts against harem even if it will be an H-scene(Yeah yeah, I know that I can save slots), but the atmosphere will not be the same...

but hey, it's just my opinion, I know that sometimes developers want to try something new I think it will be a one-time idea... we'll see

I'm not a big fan of games like branching or separate paths, but I play a couple of good games with such a story.
It's just Eternum, I just imagined what this branching would be like, where suddenly Annie invites you to her room and has fun with her? Or go to Nancy's room? One of them suddenly clicks into Orion's head and you have to choose between them lol...

or something like this could even happen where we have to choose a threesome with Alex+Dalia or a solo fuck with one of them... that would also make the development time work long time

Yeah I'm just used to how it is and happy with the flow and way Eternum is now. I could see if it was back at 02 - 03 maybe change it but now , if it's not broke don't fix or change

I would say that Nova fans will have to wait a long time, not to mention that she was in two updates...

It's not rage bait. I thought you were talking about the (possible) future branching, not the vampires/werewolves one.
Those certainly can't happen at the same time since they were written like that. If branching wins this current poll, then they will certainly be written in a way they'll happen at the same time. If non-branching wins, they'll be written one after the other.

That's the whole point of branching... Otherwise why have it? if it's pointless you're just wasting your development time AND your players time...

I think the two of you are perfectly encapsulating the duologue of AVNs.

Are they a game or a novel? Do you want your choices to impact the plot and thus, direct you to a unique ending like say, Baldur's Gate? Or have a win/survive/fail status, but ultimately same ending, like Until Dawn? Or have a kinetic novel, where the choices are purely flavor and you are ultimately just riding along.

I won't say which is my favorite, though I appreciate aspects of all of them. That being said, it's a tricky thing to navigate between the various preferences of supporters, which I think Caribdis is doing adequately.

Hello everyone!!!!

I hope you're all having an fantastic day!

To be honest, the past few weeks haven't exactly been the best for me. Between the music issue (which is thankfully solved now) and some personal stuff, my head hasn't really been in the right place, and my productivity took a hit. But well, if I had to go through a rough patch, I'm glad it happened at the beginning of the development of update rather than near the end.

That said, I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the kind messages and unconditional support you ALWAYS give me. It means the world to me.

The first set of sneak peeks are finally here! So... REJOICE!

If you played 0.8, it probably won’t come as a surprise that the update begins in Hyril'ar. After barely surviving his encounter with Thanatos, you'll finally have a chance to catch your breath in the elven kingdom and enjoy their exquisite... oh... oh.
Well... maybe that relaxing moment will have to wait a little longer...

I hope you guys make the right choices here...
