Second, it really speaks for the game when there is no clear favorite for the players.

But overall, I just find Penny pretty boring. She has her social media, her big tits and her looks, but otherwise she is pretty flat (character-wise). I just think Dalia is more interesting, her scenes are more interesting than Pennys modelling scene and the one scene where she is not involved in some modelling is outclassed by Novas scene in the same update.

I can see where you're coming from: Penny has no 'problems' in her life. She is a successful regional model that makes her own money and is nice to everybody. Her obstacles are going against the blonde bimbo stereotype and abusive fashion business people. However, compared to what the other girls have to deal, her problems seem... minimal.

Sure she is an archetype of the Popular girl, blessed by life with beauty, intellect and charisma. But saying that her character is flat and uninteresting because she doesn’t have "problems" is a bit silly. Except Alex the other girls don't have any kind of real problems either. I'm not sure what you are talking about honestly.

Also, i don't find her boring and i think she is cool and pretty fun but i guess at the end of the day it's always back to "everyone have different tastes" saying i suppose. And i have to admit that gym bunnies are not my usual favourite type of characters, so that doesn’t play in Dalia favor in my case.

- Nancy is a single mom that had to internalize the pain of being abandoned by her companion (they didn't even get married, IIRC) for 16 years. She works for a company that is subcontracted by Ulysses, the big bad enemy. She also has to provide for 2 new mouths for at least a year.
- Annie came to another country with just 2 friends; she had no previous family or friends in the USA. She is a ball of anxiety and has problems being direct about what she wants. She depends on the Carters and Orion to have social life.
- Dalia is super insecure about her own abilities and became hyper-competitive because of that, straining the relationship with her sister and thinking nothing she does is good enough.
- Nova has severe trouble making friends since she had no concept of privacy before meeting Orion. The eyepatch certainly doesn't help her to mingle. She's also a terrible cook.
- Luna has been shunned by others because of her power and is considered a weirdo. Her social life was restricted to her father and family until Orion showed up.
- Alex has a controlling father and a good-for-nothing mother and both despise her. She needs to balance her expenses with her meager waitress salary, alongside ther studies and swimming training.

I fail to see how those aren't 'real problems' or even as light as Penny's.
That doesn't mean Penny is 'boring', she just got luckier in the life's bingo.

Fair enough on that, i kinda forgot about some stuff here . Still it dosn't change the rest of what i said, it's silly to say a character with little issues is boring and flat. Which you might agree with, given you said at the end that she is not boring.

Absolutely - she's my #2 gal, after all. Maybe Cari hasn't yet explored her problems deep enough to make her more appealing to other people. We had a Valentino part in 0.3, but the blonde bimbo side has barely had any weight in the game past the 0.1 quiz.

Penny - because she is gorgeous she is assumed by all who meet her to be both an idiot and a slut. Predictably any interactions where she doesn’t immediately fulfill the other persons desires become intensely hostile in a very real and threatening way. Not just from men, but other women as well. She’s hated for her very existence by most people who do not know her and expected to service them by the rest. Even in her own profession she’s preyed upon by unsavory characters. But sure, no issues.

but seriously, considering that all the characters have or had sad pasts and current problems, it doesn't mean that Penny should have something dramatic and difficult past to get her out of boredom...

I mean, Penelope is partially a bright spot in this story who has a future and less problems and suffering (if you don't count the memory that she supposedly missed a dance or something and the job that she is so eager to find and Orion is already helping her). So everyone expects something serious and reminiscent of...

Is she boring? I wouldn't say so, deep down she is a pervert that Caribdis still hides, the scene at the Halloween party and the last scene in the photo shoot we already saw a breakthrough from her that is yet to be fully revealed!

It's not just about her boobs, she is as perverted as her mommy (the nymphomaniac-goddess) that's just it she is like a sex bimbo that Orion can do a lot of interesting things with her... I can't wait for Orion to finally realize her forbidden fantasies of hardcore BDSM stuff!

Calling her problems minimal compared to anyone except Alex and Luna is more of a "you" problem than a Penny issue (not you specifically, the people who are claiming she has no issues). Penny certainly has problems that rival anyone in her family and Nova. Alex and Luna have actual issues, to some extent.

I can easily dismiss all of the other girls problems as simply as Penny's were.

Annie - Oh no, she gets to travel abroad for school, a thing most people wish they could do, and her two best friends actually went with her so she's not alone. She's also in love with one of them and he returns her affections, life is awful when you get literally everything you dream of.

Dalia - She's such a badass she can kick nearly anyone's ass in a one on one fight of any gender, it's a bit unfortunate that the strongest woman in the world is also in her town and her love interest is literally magical. It must be horrible to be the equivalent of the second best player on an all start team.

Nova - She's a genius with what might as well be magical perception with her eye, excels at everything she does, is gorgeous and has to deal with a bit of anxiety... you know, a condition more than a 3rd of people suffer from and basically every teenager ever.

Nancy - What would have been a hard life as a single mother could not have turned out better, the girls, despite having a working mom turned out incredibly well adjusted and make good decisions, even as teenagers. She has an excellent job that affords her a very nice lifestyle so she can afford to not only raise her two girls, but take in 2 exchange students, and she has people fawning over her non stop, despite her age.

Nobody is actively trying to hurt any of these people to any degree whatsoever. Penny has a psychopath trying to ruin her life and people in her industry trying to actively molest her and her fanbase is a bunch of weird incels that get nasty the second you aren't virtually sucking their dicks...
