Very interesting. Luna is quite likely to get a solo scene because it's her first time, so that's one. Calypso is pretty much guaranteed a scene, and I think it will quite likely involve her maid (Lorelei?). As for the other girls, Penny is next in line, but the only threesome that's been teased with her is with Nova, and that would mean Nova's third update in a row with a scene which seems unlikely (but not impossible). Since Annie has had a lot of threesome teased (with Luna, Dalia and Nancy) and there aren't that many updates left, I could see her having a scene with Dalia. Annie+Nancy might seem logical but I think that dynamic would be too close to the Nova+Nancy scene last update so I don't think that will happen just yet.

Hence my prediction:
Calypso + Lorelei
Luna
Penny
Annie+Dalia

[0.9] - Progress Report

Hello everyone!

It’s been quite a while since my last progress report, so I thought now would be a great time to share a quick update on how development is going!

As you already know if you read my previous posts, the start of version 0.9’s development was a bit rough. A lot happened all at once, and I wasn’t exactly operating at peak productivity for a few weeks. But as you probably know already too, things are going better now. I’m back to my usual pace, and although there’s still work to do to make up for that slow start, progress is moving steadily.

As you can see in the pinned post, we’re currently sitting at 44% complete (though keep in mind that number is just an estimate—it becomes more accurate as we get closer to 100%). So far, I’ve completed 741 renders and 25 animations, all fully coded and with their corresponding dialogue! (over 6,900 lines of code, to be precise).

Now, I know I’ve said this for the last three updates in a row… but once again, I really do expect this to be the biggest update yet. More renders, more dialogue, and more hours of content than ever before!

The first part of the update will take place in Hyril’ar, Calypso’s realm.

This section will be a major part of the update and a crucial arc in the overall story. While parts of it will be optional or may branch based on your choices, it will feature plenty of important moments. You’ll uncover hidden secrets, meet a lot of new side characters—some friendly, others not so much—and, of course, grow closer to our magical elven princess. I’ve also been working on some cool new mechanics that I can’t wait for you to experience! (Don’t worry, no overly complicated minigames.)

If the first sneak peeks will mostly feature our elven friends, fear not—0.9 will contain much more. All the girls will have screen time, with some of them seeing key developments in your relationship with them. The main plot will also keep advancing steadily toward the grand finale, which gets closer and closer every day (while being still far, no panic).

In total, v0.9 will include 4 new lewd scenes, featuring at least five different girls—each one fully animated and similar in length to previous scenes.

I'm genuinely curious now whether or not the lewd scene in Hyril'ar will involve Lorelei. On one hand, I can see how it could happen because of Calypso convincing Lorelei to do it, and Orion being 100% down for it. On the other hand, I can't see how General Arannis would allow that, with Lorelei being his daughter and all. I'm looking forward to finding out.

Looks like 44% is very optimistic on this stage. I will say that it's somewhere near 25-30 if Caribdis told that it will be bigger than 0.8

Pure static render count wouldn't be the bottleneck that slows production, it'd be animations and what comes before the renders.

I presume Caribdis has a render machine or two, they'll be pumping out a decent amount of static renders every day, it'd be the writing/posing/coding that slows everything down.

Tbf he said himself, the number probably isn't particularly accurate. I'd personally be happy if we get a release by say November/December.

4 lewd, 5 girls? my guesses are:

- A new Penny scene. She accepted her freaky side, I can't wait to see it! I hope for some backdoor action. And she didn't get a scene last ep.
- Luna is getting a scene, she also didn't get one.
- Calypso, probably more edging or a proper handjob this time.
- Alex and Dalia threesome, it's being hinted before so now it's the time. However, since we already got a threesome in the last update, there is a chance that Cari would not add a new threesome scene . A good alternative would be a threesome with some elven prostitutes or maids while Calypso watches, because it fits her character very well. In her last scene we could see that she really likes to be in charge.

Considering that 0.8 was a big shift in how Orion looks at his relationships, it would feel a bit slimy for Lorelei to get fucked. Narratively, Caribdis has made it pretty clear that Orion needs to be focused on his harem alone - particularly when you consider the conversation with Nancy, and the trap he set for the date with Annie.

It is unlikely Lorelei will be added to the harem, and I feel like packaging her as a 2 for 1 deal with Calypso removes a lot of the slow burn romance occuring between Calypso and Orion. So while it is possible, I would find it quite dissatisfying.

What I can see Lorelei being used for, is for Calypso to hide her attraction to Orion. For instance (this is not a prediction, it's lame but a good example of what I mean), Calypso wants to see his dick again, but her ego can't stand the thought of Orion knowing that she wants it - so she sends Lorelei to barge into Orion's room while he is washing, using magic to 'see through her eyes', or using the commotion to add plausible deniability for walking in herself.

She could also be used as a honey trap, kind of like Eulalie in 0.8, where the right response would be to confess his own feelings for Calypso and turn Lorelei down.

I couldn't care less about Lorelei. Everyone has been talking about her getting a scene, and I have no clue where this idea is coming from. I never even considered this random elf we just met to receive a scene this late in the story, nor random elven prostitutes or something.

I feel like at this stage in the story, all our time should be exclusively focused on the LIs. We don't need another scene with Eva or Maat or Lorelei - it would just detract from the harem and waste whatever precious time we have remaining before the final update.

Anyway, my predictions are:

Calypso.
Penny.
Luna.
Alex and Dalia.
