Why would he promised that? I'm genuinely confused as why people would want smaller updates over bigger ones. Make me scratches my head really hard. "Look at that its really good so we want less of it?" It just doesn’t make any sense to me. It already frustrated me a lot that he doesn’t want to do more that 14 updates but now you are telling me there are gonna get smaller and smaller? Baah.

I also prefer larger updates, but at the same time hate the long wait. Which is the tradeoff, smaller updates would come quicker. Even if the next couple chapters are shorter, I still don't see him making them that much smaller than the usual for this game. And I'd bet this one is taking a bit longer than usual because of the music setback after the last patch. It took some time to resolve that before they could get fully rolling on making 0.9.

Because he doesn't want 1 update per year to become the norm and because he has a 3rd game on the horizon that he wants to get to and he doesn't want to overstay his welcome with Eternum?

Smaller in comparison to 0.8 and 0.9, but still substantial. Something like 0.7 which had a fewer render and scene count compared to, say, 0.6 or 0.8.

Oh, yeah I was already hoping for this to be like 0.7 in content, was surprised he went for 4 scenes and even bigger update b2b. Honestly won't mind less scenes if we keep getting scenes like Penny 0.7 one

On the contrary, a November release means development hit a snag in the late stages. Otherwise it'll be mid-late October if Cari continues being consistent with his progress (which is 6% every 14 days following the latest percentage increase).
