I never took that scene as hinting at Orion getting some power to change fate, though it could be.

I always thought it was sort of a simple test to find out what kind of person Orion is. Whether he's the type that'll go along with the status quo (heads) or one that'll fight against it (tails) even if the odds are stacked against him.

The reason I said predetermined or changing the outcome of something is because Idriel says something like this a few times throughout the game as if this has all happened before with other people but always ends the same:



But I guess it could still go either way with interpretation. I'd have to play again to see the other things she says but i swear she said stuff that was more on the nose about it all happening before.

Maybe whats this was about has already been revealed in a later update, but the Syndicate girl had some similar temporal shenanigans implication. The girl with the letter for Orion. When Orion asks her why they can't give him the letter later when its time to open it, she says that it has to be given now. Not earlier or later, only now. Because they've seen it and they've tried before.

Which sounds like a whole lot of "stuck in a time loop" stuff to me. That or "AIs simulating timelines", like the Vex in Destiny, I guess.

Yep I picked up on all the hints at some sort of time loop or reset to try events over and over. It's actually one of the reasons I thought that about the coin flip choice. It sounds like they're trying to brute force the outcome they're after by trying over and over. And I took that question as a quick check by them to see if this Orion might be on the path they want him on.

I just played that scene again. I swear it's like she's saying Heads every time he's said the same thing to her or she says an event that's happened in a 'loop' or whatever it is. Then smiles when he says tails. If you pick heads she doesn't smile.

Ahhh... i just more Alex Scenes. Hope we'll be seeing more of her this coming update, but it kinda is unlikely, seeing that we are in Calypsos world at the Moment. Still wondering how we're gonna get out of that.

I can see that. The whispers Orion hears when first meeting the Founder might be telling:

"You have to remember..."
"Get out(up?).."
"Don't believe his lies..."

We later find out the founder is lying about a lot of things and knows more than he lets on. So the other 2? IDK yet.

Caribdis should honestly make more wallpapers with Orion as one of the main parts of them. Hell, he should make some completely Orion-focused wallpapers! Our boy is too cool to not have his own wallpaper. That's what I think, at least. What about you guys?

The number of scenes? Yes. The Alex-Dalia threesome? That is just speculation so far.
Edit: the speculation is about if the scene will happen in the next update. It is pretty much confirmed/assumed it will eventually happen.
