I have 3 questions regarding the game:

1-When will it be totally finished; And what version will it be at the end?

2-will a new update be released yearly or monthly?

3- is there plans to make the mc customizable or changing his hairstyle/physical appearance? Honestly he looks like some tree twig or somethin

1. Dev said his current target is 13-14 chapters total (we are currently at chapter 8, with chapter 9 coming out late this year)

2. Updates come out 7 1/2 - 8 months after the public release

3. Spoilers: There is no customization, but Orion (MC) gets a new hairstyle and bulks up as the story progresses

Being on the spectrum myself and I disagree with that statement. Whenever I hear or see that statement is being used that "everyone is a little bit autistic" they clearly don't understand autism at all. I would not recommend the autistic life expierence to anyone. Our brains are not built for this capitalistic neurotypicical society.

With that being said: this game is still on my back-log.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but everyone with autism presents differently and it can have wildly different effects on their lives. They are just figuring out that women with autism have been misdiagnosed for decades, usually as ADHD, because of how it expresses in their lives, and how social masking hides many of the characteristics. I do know a thing or two about this. I was by no means intending any offense to you, but I do stand by what I said. There are many more people with autism than those with diagnoses and support.

I tested it and these 2 lines are right next to each other if you decide to not ask Dalia for anything sexual in return for winning a fight against her back in the roman server ( since that closes the route)

I fuilly understand you. No offence taken. But once again having one trait really doesn't make you "a little bit ADHD / autistic / insert any other neurological dissabillity" like those folks like to say as an attempt to make you feel better about yourself. It's not helping. At least for me. You really need an amount of traits to have that diagnosis. Being able to identify and having suspicions for having a neurological dissabillity is one thing. Getting that diagnosis also would takes time due waiting lists etc and some specialists in that field, but that can be a real game changer.

It sucks being misunderstood all the time, struggling with taking everything literally, black-and-white thinking, struggling with reading social cues properly, making enough eye-contact, all that small talk bullshit that NT people like to do, sensory stimuli isseus, executive dysfunction ... etc.

I know women are often gets misdiagnosed when they really have ADHD. My mom was possibly one of them (passed away, so i'll never probably know for sure) and when I have learned you can have both ADHD and autism like half year ago I'm now undergoing through the process of getting an ADHD diagnosis myself. By the end of august it's estiminated I'll get my evaluation report. I do know both autism and ADHD have string evidence on being related to genetics, so yeah. I do struggle a lot with a lot of non-autistic issues like getting late, not being able to complete tasks, daydreaming almost all the time, not paying attention, loosing constantly stuff, and it's been like that since childhood. My autism is most likely the more dominant one, since I've been diagnosed ASD when I was 16.

Having an actual neurodivergent brain that's expected to thrive in a neurotypical society fucking sucks. I almost ended my own life because of this.

It's realy shitty, and there's no sugar coating it. But you are not alone, and I do hope it gets better for you. Sending love your way.

Also, because I do not want to be misunderstood, I don't mean to make you uncomfortable at all. My only intention with this message is to make you feel better, if I can. And if I can't, to at least let you know some people care. And if I unwittingly made you uncomfortable, I apologize.

Just to clarify and be pedantic because I’m a little higher on a different spectrum and it compels me to do so, saying everyone is on a spectrum is correct and also doesn’t mean everyone is a little autistic.

Humans are biological squish bags. There is no black and white, one or the other. Being diagnosed autistic just means you reach a threshold of traits (this is probably the wrong word and I apologize, but I think it is clear enough) that qualify. Some may have some traits but not enough, some may have none at all, some may have all the traits. That’s the spectrum. Spectrums go from nothing to everything and everything in between. So yes, we’re all on the spectrum, no, we’re not all a little autistic.

I’m just defining terms for clarity as I think everyone agrees and things are getting a little lost in translation.

I am replaying it now too, I think I will stop, lol. Last update was the first update that I had to wait and all that wait made the experience much more worth it. I replayed DS1 before DS2 and I am having a hard time feeling excited to play DS2 now.

What other settings are you guys more excited to see it? I wish we had more WRE, ERE, I would like a Chinese setting like 3 kingdoms.

I'd love a world sort of like Shadowrun. Cyberpunk future tech with lots of neon lights and big cities but also with magic and fantasy elements blended in.
It was one of the setting for the earlier episodes, right? And we had the Zenomorphs with Luna and Annie Cyberpunk, but not explored enough there. Maybe we are due a futuristic setting to explore.

Does anybody else think that mega fireball from Annie was a bit much? Some characters may be getting too strong, lol.

Guessing by what Orion said to Calypso about a futuristic server, we might just be seeing that type of scenario soon

Pretty on brand with the shy girl turned strong cliche which is understandable, what I personally can't digest is how Dalia has super speed like Flash. Apart from magic, all physical abilities are just like in the real world so I just can't accept how she killed both the Jackals before they could even react

Well he spends a bit of time in a cyberpunk type world but not long. And I believe it's mentioned that magic is inactive on that one, so not quite like what I described.

Honestly a Shadowrun type world would be cool as hell but probably require too much setup and time spent there to build the setting and have it payoff in any satisfactory way. What makes that setting so neat to me is how the magic and fantasy elements work within the futuristic society. Shapeshifting nearly immortal dragons as the CEOs of megacorps ruling the world for example.

So while I'd love a world like that I doubt we'll see that here in Eternum. But I'm guessing we'll almost certainly be spending some more time on the futuristic worlds at some point.

And Annie I think was always that powerful, she just never got a chance to show it until that point :ROFLMAO:
