Pretty on brand with the shy girl turned strong cliche which is understandable, what I personally can't digest is how Dalia has super speed like Flash. Apart from magic, all physical abilities are just like in the real world so I just can't accept how she killed both the Jackals before they could even react

But bro, the next scene after the explosion you can see it from the atmosphere, loll. It's like a genki-dama from Goku.

It's not a big deal, but I just felt it was a bit too much.

It being over the top was obviously on purpose for laughs. Especially with how prior to that scene it showed Annie being borderline coddled and underestimated by the rest of the group, and her wanting to prove herself.

It gave Annie an opportunity to show off in a ridiculous way and prove she wasn't weak to the others.

I viewed it sort of like this scene with Micaela

1. Dev said his current target is 13-14 chapters total (we are currently at chapter 8, with chapter 9 coming out late this year)

2. Updates come out 7 1/2 - 8 months after the public release

How do you know it's lacking when you haven't play it yet? I would understand if it only had one year of updates, but Eternum will be 4 years old in September, and I wouldn't call its current content as "lacking".

"Lacking" sounds a bit over the top.... On the new update if you play without a break it will take about 2-3 hours to read!
Now imagine if you try to play the entire update? If I'm not mistaken it will take a lot of hours to complete all the playthroughs.

So there is no "Lacking" in Eternum and you can have more fun playing

Well he's not completely wrong (since there will be years where we'll probably get one update) but he's not completely right either (coz if dev prog remains consistent then at some point we'll get 2 updates a year instead of 1, probably once we get to update 0.11 or 0.12).

No, you understood correctly. I was more objecting to the idea that "every 8 months" and "once a year" are the same thing, because they're not. But I was probably more unkind about it than I needed to be.

My sassiness aside, MAGO-DAG is absolutely correct. There are probably at least 10-15 hours of gametime minimum in the current version for an average reading speed. Significantly less if you just skip reading everything and go straight for the lewds, but that would be a shame because the story and characters are pretty great.

Also, if I'm correct in my interpretation of how far you've gotten.... there is a LOT of game left for you to go through, even now!

Well the game is fun I'm not denying that i am saying that it's lacking in the consistence of the updates and i don't personally like to play a game that isn't finished or keeps a slow pace of updating like summer's gone i loved that game but it's veeeeery slow to release a new update and if u like me play a lot of games u will forget the plot when u move to another games then return to it

Sigh... you have to understand that graphics and quality require more time, not to mention the duration of one update...
and yes, comparing Eternum with the one you mentioned? Tsk-tsk, bad omen! Eternum's dev is always true to its plan and progress.
But as I said, with each update it becomes longer and better!

But alas, can't please people... if Cari released monthly short updates, there would be whining, the same applies to the annual update.

I don't know who Calpyso is, but what about Calypso? Maybe she'll be added as LI... although I would call her a bonus solo alternative choice in the future besides the harem.

Not remotely comparable. SG has been remade a bunch of times already with no visible end in sight while Eternum knows when it's going to end and continues to crawl towards said end. Plus a lot of people here have more faith in the dev given that he has one finished game in his belt.

And I don't get your comment regarding "lacking in the consistence of the updates" when dev is known as one of the most consistent AVN devs out there when it comes to updates (and providing news and current prog status of the update). Just because dev workload has reached a point where he seemingly releases 1 update a year (a fact that he said he wanted to rectify in future updates by trimming the content a bit), that doesn't put him in the same level as devs who would, say, go on indefinite hiatuses or be locked in remake hell (which your comment is basically implying).

If we chose the correct options in Calypso's path it would be pretty damn awesome if the game changes the gallery and promotes/upgrades Caly as one of the main LIs from the side girls

Yeah would definitely like that and also since we are gonna get more Calypso scenes in the future, it would be really nice to have a separate gallery screen for her with her stats
