So one update absence instead of two. Too long, I say!

I think I remember now. That´s why she´s on the train with Orion and Chang when the game starts, right? She´s also came with Orion to Kredon.

If a character is presented to have the ability to jump across many realities, it is not unreasonable to assume that said character will likely jump into the real world in the future. It's basically a Chekov's Gun that a lot of people have been waiting to fire since her abilities were revealed.

Idk if it´s unreasonable, I never thought of that possibility. Sure she has that ability but it´s inside Eternum, where all those realities are a part of, so it makes sense that she can do that inside the game she´s an NPC of. It´s another to leave the actual game and come to our world.
Yet, the game is going in a direction where Eternum is leaking into the real world, so maybe that´s not that crazy.

Meh. I'm not convinced really, especially because you're inferring but saying it's implied. Implication is only known by the creator; everyone else is making an inference. It's an important distinction, because you can see one thing in the grains of sand while I see something entirely different. Both of those can vary greatly from what Caribdis intended.

But as you say, agree to disagree, although I would say that for more than just the definition. I'm gonna leave this here, because I never intended to get hardcore into super-secret-research-manual-level detail on game theory or whatnot. I expressed my view, and you say I'm wrong. Cool. No more discussion needed. I don't mean this as anything against you, but for me personally delving this heavily into this stuff makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. Heavy-duty fan theorizing online has never really been my thing.

Yeah, it sucks Caribdis doesn't do weekly updates or one one update per month at the longest, with +50 lewd scenes each release. More time than that means the dev either abandoning the game or just milking. Sure, he makes monthly wallpapers (one SFW and another NSFW), also does monthly devlogs with sneak pics... but no, it must be just a way to scam his patreons. That sleazy bastard.

You're referring to the public release (which was released in January btw). Eternum 0.8 for Demon Lord was released back in November of last year, so yeah!

Ah, OK. I was going by the release date given in the initial post in this topic. But if the poster had been a Demon Lord - or even on a lower subscriber tier - then I'm sure that he'd know from the dev's posts that it hadn't been abandoned.

To be fair development for the next version doesn't really begin until after the release of the public version. So yes, while 0.8 has been out since the DL release, development for 0.9 has only been going for 8 1/2 months following the public release of 0.8.

Amazing game, I love it so far.
I usually try the different options before going with the one I prefer, but I admit I wasn't able to do that the first time I returned from Tortuga with Nova.

The idea is based on the theory that Idriel is Anima or used to be Anima. We know from Calypso's tale that Anima is essentially a more powerful version of her, so it would track that while the Founder may be the one who came up with the idea for exit portals, she's the one actually making said portal tech in Eternum possible. Not to mention her responsibilities in the Nexus (sending people on their way to various servers) are basically the same as to how Orion used Calypso prior to her rant in 0.6: being a glorified portal opener.

Also, Idriel is powerless because she is chained, yes. But that didn't stop her from creating the Weapons of Atlas (which the Founder said was her doing) nor is it stopping her from appearing to Orion every now and then. This implies that even when chained, she DOES have a little bit of freedom, so it wouldn't surprise me if she was the real reason as to how the group managed to get their way to Ogygia.


Well you and Annie are not the same person so I don't really know why you would bring that up. Also, if Orion was able to go to the UK to visit his folks during the timeskip period between the end of 0.5 and the beginning of 0.6, then why can't Annie?

I don't believe Idriel is supposed to be the Queen "Anima" although I do see that's also possible theory

Those girls and settings are looking INCREDIBLE! Cari and his team are true masters of HS2.
I wasn't expecting Alex to go with the Carters... that's a nice surprise! Which also means her date with Orion - it was supposed to happen 1 week after 0.8 - will probably happen off-screen and we'll get a timeskip after Luna's date (which will probably happen 3-4 days after 0.8).
Penny and Alex, the queens of teasing and playfulness respectively, are full of those in those shots. And Dalia as well... man! MAN! Those 3 will eat him alive!!
Cute Annie pic, but it feels she's not with them. Prolly went to the UK for the festivities.

Giving it a bit more thought, it was really kind of the Carters to invite Alex over. That girl surely deserves a nice holiday.

It would be the biggest curveball if the threesome were to be Alex and Penny. I think no one is expecting that to happen, at least in this update.

In case there was any doubt, the ass that Orion is overtly staring at belongs to Dalia (see the hair). This happens in the same place (and probably same scene) as where Nancy and Alex are staring at the camera like it's a hunk of meat. It is thought that the cards in Nancy's hand are from Changermeister seen in the previews, which looks to be a drinking and strip game based on the box art.

My bet is on a strip game in the hot tub with Nancy, Alex, and Dalia, with Nancy intentionally stepping away so Orion can get the threesome.

That makes the scene lineup:
1. Caly - She is poster girl, gets a scene 100% (possibly with Loriel)
2. Dalia and Alex - Previously hinted at, previews show a scene together with obvious sexual tension
3. Luna - Nothing concrete, but it's about time and there will be riots if she doesn't get one
4. Nancy or Penny - Leaning toward Penny from the sneak peak. Dont think we'll be getting Nova after the last couple updates

Although I bet the order will be Caly - Luna - Penny - DaliAlex (- or Penny here). Nancy, Nova and Annie will take a seat in this update.

I'm guessing this Christmas scene coming up is a thing other VNs I've seen done where it's set slightly in the future with some character development applied over the timeskip (like everyone being aware of the harem arrangement, not just Nancy and Nova). Otherwise, how the hell is Orion getting back from Calypso's realm so quickly? He'll have to at least wait until Calypso can tell her guardsmen who he is to get them to not execute him. Also, there'll surely be some palace intrigue and at least one scene with those maids Calypso said would be intrested in meeting Orion.

Time might work differently in Hyril'ar. It's not on Eternum (as Earth isn't), so Orion might spend weeks there while only a few days passed on Earth (like that water planet in Interstellar, but inverted)

Try opening image from Patreon in a new tab, copy the link, use the insert image icon but choose the ¨by URL¨ option and paste the link there. If that doesn't work, then reduce the resolution. Caribdis wallpapers tend to be quite heavy, so if the first option doesn't work, either reduce the PNG size or change it to JPG.
