Wait can someone explain if i missed something? Last update we saw mc and calypso stuck in her realm and then it ends but I just saw preview pics and now its a Christmas cabin update? Were they not stuck at all or did i miss an update

All previews/sneak peeks are from the upcoming update 0.9.
We also knew in advance before the update 0.8 that Christmas was coming, because the Carters organized Christmas holidays (especially Dalia's birthdays if I'm not mistaken).
And how and where did they get there? Will be known in the upcoming update

The next is for sure v0.9. I assume it will be as you think, v0.10, v0.11, etc. The game doesn't feel to me like it's ready to be completed yet, so I think we'll go into the v0.1x set of versions.

Don't focus to much on the "version " numbers, is just "cosmetic". Treat every update is what it is, an Episode, or chapter. The upcoming gonna be episode 9 . and I don't remember the exact number but Caribdis said something along the line , that around 12 episode can be expected,

Also while Cari is using the 0.9 -> 0.10 -> 0.11 -> etc. numbering scheme, he is thinking about changing it (tho hasn't confirmed as of yet if the change will happen).

I hope this is just a bad taste joke by Caribdis, because if in fact some girl dies after everything that has been lived with them, it would be the worst fuck up ever in a game, I just pray because actually this is a joke, seriously.... if that happens, this will go from being my favorite game to the one I hate the most.

The main 7 are likely going to be fine no matter what kind of near-death situation Cari subjects them to...provided that you haven't greyed them out, anyway.
Can't say the same for Calypso tho, considering that while Cari said she's "part of the harem...but different," she still doesn't have a dedicated LI page. And that kinda bothers me since it's possible that there might be a terrible reason why she doesn't have one even at this point in the main story.
