I´ve up to date with the story, but can you please elaborate on that? Put it as spoiler if you want to, but I´d like to know because the questions made me curious, as this is something I never really thought about and I can´t come up with an answer right now.

For point 1, restrictions are there because Ulysses likely deem those as disruptive to the Gem Hunt. A few stragglers are likely okay as they could be dealt with by Praetorians and be set as examples to the general populace when punished, but overall Ulysses likely doesn't want the "game" to devolve into a complete sandbox, not when the point of the VRMMO is to aid the Founder in his quest for the gems and to foster a competitive atmosphere as a means to accelerate the hunt.

For point 2, having sex with NPCs could potentially break the programming of their implants and bring back their original personalities or memories of when they were alive, potentially exposing the truth about the VRMMO to the public, which Ulysses obviously wouldn't want to happen.

For point 3, appearance isn't changeable coz of existing lore and media depictions regarding astral projections, which in almost all depictions are a 1:1 copy of the person's actual body.

And what would happen if Orion brought a character from Eternum to the exact place where the person controlling that character was in real life? And what would happen if Orion brought a character from Eternum to the exact place where the person controlling that character was in real life? My uneducated guess would be:

1. Since eternum basically is a form of astral projection, the inferior part of the split being, i.e the part mostly existing in eternum would warp to where the real body is, since eternum, despite being of many worlds, is in its own plane of existence and thus the two pieces would fuse.

This would imply though that the visors and clothing they wear would also morph into whatever clothing they had in-game or disappear or get left behind since it works in different laws thus since eternum basically operates on different laws, depending on how heavy the penalty to the balance of the universe is to such stupid actions, abilities and clothing may or may not continue to function as they did normally.

2. The second is just that bringing you from outside while in-game would just lead to you looking at a sleeping beauty version of you, nothing more

I've been playing OIAL recently until update 0.8 as of now, and seriously, this man moved up in the world, the quality increase is unreal. There is proper music, characters interact more with each other and with the overall story, animations are diverse both in sex scenes and normal ones, renders are better visually and with better cinematograpy. I am impressed

i'd was thinking something similar ! , maybe Mc will find out that the only way to stop Tanathos is by bringing Tanatho's mother into Eternum , so she can see and talk to her son and say good bye for the last time..
that is "if" Tanathos is trapped as an npc in Eternum but my theory is that the original Tanathos was killed by Mr Bardot and now he is behind the costume !.
