the quality of this game is top notch. cool story, pretty funny, and very likrable characters that actually have some depth.

one problem tho...

why does everyone hsve comically small nipples? it wss funny at first, but i am no longer amused.

can we get a serious titty mod? cus these are not serious titties.

Making him have a roidhead body is modern influence, Orion was never depicted as being particularly strong or muscular, like others like Herakles actually were, because you needed a lot of stamina to hunt in the age of bows and spears, a bulky body is a hindrance in that setting, it only works in Hollywood movies.

And those like Herakles were depicted only with what's naturally achievable, they couldn't know of steroids results, which is what the Eternum MC has. This was a peak strong body in Hellenic/Roman times, as an adult (not as a teenager like the Eternum MC is):

If Caribdis is so into Hellenic mythology, he could have him have this body instead and it would be more in line with that age. But his body is what's only possible with modern steroids, it's a modern depiction of what's considered a peak strong body now but not even with suicidal doses of modern steroids can you have a body like that below 20.
Again, Orion growing in the "roided" form that he has is a reference to his description in the myths as a "giant." While I'm not contesting that Orion's appearances in Greek statues are more athletic, usually when something is being described as a "giant" the modern go-to is usually people with big roided physiques (which makes his appearance as such in Fate and in God of War not all that surprising).

"Well can't Cari just make him taller, then?" Well, he could, but then you run into the issue of the model looking stretched out coz HS2 limitations and sex scenes being wonky as fuck when a small-ass LI meets uber tall jackass. Thus, having Orion bulk up evokes the "giant" imagery of his mythological counterpart without the extra baggage of having to work with a literal giant in scenes.
Bout the hemorrhoid "steroid" debate, do we know how much the available options for muscles are limited by HS2 or available workable mods too? I personally think his muscles right now are a bit over the top, but I do appreciate it a lot he looks way hotter than the average HS2 shrimp MC, and imo that matters more. I don't think his early version was ideal.

Gonna be a real bomb drop tho when it's revealed in 0.11 he started getting spiked with roids when he put his tampered implant in. :KappaPride:

Of course you can depict Jesus Christ or Siddhartha Gautama with roided bodies (it has been done already), but it's not what they were ever characterised as, in any form whatsoever were they depicted as having strong bodies.

IIRC there are realistic texture mods that give the illusion of muscle tone even on shrimp MCs but Cari hates those kind of mods coz it tanks HS2's framerate (coz HS2 be like that) and he's already working under near single digit fps conditions, so... :HideThePain:

In terms of proportions...well you can basically recreate Thanos in HS2 (and suffer through the obvious clipping as seen in those gauntlets)...

So yeah, Orion's bulkiness could've been worse. :HideThePain:

I agree his muscles are a bit over the top but also way better than the usual noodle body found in HS(2). I guess this is not the right engine to get finer control over body morphs. I still think he's nice to look at even if overly muscular, the sweeter face kinda makes up for it somehow.

I really must be the only person who doesn't think Orion is too muscly. Probably because I've always been a fairly large person, and I've been weightlifting for 28 years now, so Orion doesn't look "roided" as many are stating. The supernatural effects in the game are quite obvious, so I have no qualms that clearly Orion is experiencing years of muscle growth in the span of months. It works narratively, and I simply view it as a Macguffin; something that needs no explanation as it fits the plot.

Nah, he also looks fine to me. There's a certain level of physical progression that needs to be shown in game and I agree with you, it works narratively. It won't stop dissenting opinions from griping.

I agree. I don't think he's too muscly either. My only critique with his model would be his lack of symmetry in his arms. Like he's got some massive boulder shoulders with skinny little forearms. Other than that, everything about your post is pretty spot on to how I feel about him.

I don't have a problem with it, narrative-wise. It all makes sense in the internal logic of the game. I was only commenting purely on aesthetics and personally what I find hot. Not complaining about the game. ;)

Inventory system is tied to the implant which Ulysses/The Founder controls as mentioned by William during his infodump back in 0.7, tho my crackpot theory is that a lot of the "systems" that are being used by the VRMMO (from materializing gear to the portal tech that the players use) are provided by Idriel, given that she's likely Anima (the Queen of the Elves Caly mentioned who's supposed to be a lot more powerful than her and thus could do a lot of godlike stuff).
What I'm
Wouldn´t mind it.
Seriously doubt it.

Understandable.
Other thing I just thought of: with the MC having a big dick, shouldn´t his thing be peeking out of that tiny swim speedo?
Holy fuck! I didn't notice that, since I usually don't look at male crotch...

I'm a gym bro too and I've never, ever seen an actual natty standing (flexing or not) with such visible groovy external obliques plus a visible vein:

mc.png

It's hard even for roiders, that's a Hadi Choopan grade abdominal area.

Also his shoulders, chest and arms, while possibly natty, are too bulky for his ripped abdominal area. It's like his upper part is from a body and his ripped abs are from another one, which is impossible without roids (bulky upper part and ripped abs), but the average roider has it without much effort thanks to test and clen.

He already has big forearms lol

What's big enough, Popeye forearms?

No, just tone down the shoulders a bit lol.
Yeah his whole arms are too muscular for a 18 years old, his chest is excessive already but his arms are really unreal.

This is how I see these combinations:
  • That upper part + those ripped abs = Impossible as natty
  • That upper part = Possible but not at 18, more like from 25 on
  • Those ripped abs = Impossible as a natty

Of course everything can be explained by MC's magic, all of this was about if it fits his in game profile.
