Two questions:

1- What is the maximum number of hearts you can have with Calypso at the end of 0.9? Does anyone know?
2- What was the official release date of the 0.8 update?

In general I have no preference, but I found the Dalia-Alex interaction during the threesome absolutely amazing. It helps that Dalia is my #1, and Alex is tied for second, so seeing the two of them kiss, seeing their titties mash together, pure cinema!

Gallery is bound to the persistent file. Renpy is saving the games to two different places anyway, so if it is the same computer and the same Win Account you don't need to move files anyway (talking PC here).

If Cari keeps his promise from his last 0.9 progress report that next updates are gonna be shorter then maybe we're gonna see at least a year where we get 2 updates (assuming, say, next 3 updates go back to the 7-month dev time instead of a year and then he reserves the 1 year dev time for the final update).

On the matter of recaps:
  • I really love the way BaDIK handles this. While that game gets a few things wrong in my opinion (to the point it's really overrated), the recaps are done just perfectly. A BaDIK recap feels exactly like a recap at the beginning of an episode of a TV series. It makes the entire game appear much more polished than it would otherwise. But I can see why that isn't becoming a standard. It must be a lot of effort.
  • At the other end of the effort scale, there is the way that one distinctly amateur and very eccentric game (which screams "made by an autist" to me) does it: Jeijei's Harem - Calm Before the Storm. Between two episodes (or in this case: days) it displays a simple page with non-clickable portraits of all love interests known at that point and a simple, text-only list of player decisions and love interest statistics. This is very low effort but almost more useful than what BaDIK does.
However, both methods make less sense if there are no recognizable, complete episodes of roughly equal length. It seems to me that Eternum isn't divided into episodes so much as in scenes (with several scenes per update). New players can't tell where an update ended and a new one started. Old players only know this because they remember it. You could probably divide Eternum into episodes with distinct adventures, but due to the cliffhangers, that structure would be different from the division into updates. Even so, I guess a recognizable episode structure with simple episode recaps (as basic as in Jeijei's Harem but with better visual design), perhaps plus update recaps in between, could probably be added by a mod.

Thank you very much. It seems that I haven't lost points with Calypso along the way.

So between 0.8 and 0.9 there was a year of development, during which Cari had trouble with the music and the payments, which made 0.9 take longer. Considering that Cari has said the next updates will be shorter, and assuming there won't be external problems, maybe we can see 0.10 at the end of September or in October, right?

For me the obvious comparison is the Alex/Dahlia scene versus the Nancy/Nova one. Nancy/Nova there really wasn't much chemistry between the two girls and it didn't really feel like a threesome to me. It was more of a tag team aside from a little sharing for the BJ. For the Alex/Dahlia scene it was much clearer that they both were getting off on watching the other one, especially for Alex. Alex couldn't wait to watch her best friend get fucked, and I got the feeling she'd be down for some muff diving as well. Not sure Dahlia would have gone for that but Alex seemed primed for it. Would have loved if the finale for that scene was Alex getting fucked by MC while she licked Dahlia's pussy.

I liked the chemistry in the Calypso scene as well but I'm not a fan of her summoned hand/dildo stuff. I would rather those scenes did not resort to summoned props. IMO, her first scene should have been a real HJ and she was coming from so far behind the other girls in the latest update that IMO her 2nd scene should have been a 69 after Lorelei. I still liked it as is though.

Just finished playing the new update, and what a fire update it was. I play a fair number of AVNs but I think this is the first time I had to pause the game multiple times just to take a quick few seconds to reflect on the game. Renders, animation and writing is just on another level.

Now the agony is waiting for the next one (what a damn cliffhanger Cari!), but you know it would be well worth it!

Oh I agree. I was just commenting that the scene was not as hot because of it. I agree that it would not have been justified based on their history up to that point. Alex/Dahlia though, plenty of justification there.

Just to be sure. The event where you unlock the outfit for Luna is just the short trip with Luna and Annie to the Andromeda server.

Where Annie briefly shows off, becomes a WMD, and takes away any sense of achievement from Jerry (again).

Not that I missed something and the event actually involves much more (but I just messed up and that's why I don't have the outfit).
