Do we know if he's going to stick with Honey Select 2 or move to something else so he can actually sell the game? Part of me wants him to move to an actual 3D modeling platform, but the other part of me loves how HS2 looks in Eternum.

Why would he move to somewhere he can sell the game when he already makes tens of thousands a month on Patreon? If he's been smart with his money he is doing very well financial, as he should be.

Gallery is bound to the persistent file. Renpy is saving the games to two different places anyway, so if it is the same computer and the same Win Account you don't need to move files anyway (talking PC here).

Yeah that's how it worked for me from 0.7 to 0..8, but now it's not? I'm not sure why this is happening

I copy pasted the whole save folder, with everything in it. so it should have? Unless the persistent file is something different?

I mean, Caridbis is a Pro at using HS/HS2 and he's got 7337 payers on patreon, if he moved on to DAZ and he sucked on it, he probably would lose money.

The only part i'm worried about is the future of HS games since we're probably never getting HS3 but maybe there are really good modders for the HS engine.

You moved them in the game folder right? Ig open appdata folder and paste them again under renpy/eternum and renpy/eternum/sync. It fixed the gallery for me during 0.8

Caribdis doesn't need DAZ he's basically an artist with HS2, I've never seen HS2 graphics in any game that even comes close to Eternum. While others are probably at an 8 in quality Caribdis is a straight 11/10 in graphics quality and animation

I mean this whole episode was amped up to 11 when it came to emotional scenes. More than any other episode Caribdis has ever made. His previous way of dealing with stuff like this has been to either have the characters joke it away, do a time jump or just handwave it away because he wants his games to be light-hearted fun.

Yup, the moment where Luna finally breaks down from seeing MC at the crosswalk had me tearing up, just a heartfelt moment not just thrown away with humor. A minor one about the tacos but it didn't steal the moment.

Yeah,there are people like Hanmen,who gave us Graphics Plugin,that moves hs graphics on a new level, but hs2 is built on unity 2018 build,so there are surely some limits regarding optimization and I also feel like we are gonna reach these limits soon. However,can't we just export characters to unity itself and then to blender,instead of working with studio neo Then finding assets for blender would be much easier than porting them into studio neo

Yeah,that's true. Other devs are getting closer,but nobody matched Eternum yet

For some reason it doesn’t bother me as much with Luna, but this is one of the reasons I’m not a fan of Nova - I don’t like the neuroticism.

I think if I had to put words to this it's because Luna has some seriously valid reasons to be super shy and low self-esteem. She felt for a long time like she literally killed her mom with her vision, got constantly bullied by everyone at school, etc. For Nova...she's just kinda a weirdo just because, not really a compelling background for why she is the way she is. That said, I can put that all aside because she's super hot and this is a porn game. In real life though no way would I put up with her being so crazy.

I like Nova's character and personality. I just wish the eye patch got phased out at some point. I want to see her eyes without one of them being a bloodshot mess. Let MC find her some special eyedrops or something.

I've just finished the latest update, so no longer have to tread carefully here for fear of stumbling on spoilers. That said, the insane rate of posting here at present means there's no way that I can read more than a fraction of the posts. What a huge update it was! I reckon there was more content in it than in some complete games.

Alex and Penny have been my favourite girls for a while, and they had more superb content in this update. But Luna has now joined them in my top tier, as she was fantastic here. That said, the remaining girls are only a short distance behind those three, of course.

I'm hoping that Lorelei will finish up in our harem too, and not just Calypso. As those two are so close, I suspect that when/if Calypso wins her war, leaves Hyril'ar and rejoins us she will bring Lorelei with her

Me too,but I think Lorelei will stay as a Calypso's maid,and I'm not sure she has feelings towards Orion or the opposite,but Orion surely will marry Caly

I felt this so hard. And the fact that Cari made also made Orion shed a tear at that same exact moment in this update meant he fully intended for the feels to hit us right there.

She was already my best girl in the game but that scene elevated her even more, and made the following interactions with her in this update so emotionally gratifying. Luny is too precious for the world.

my favorite part was quizzing us about lore calypso muttered 8 updates ago...aka 4+ years ago....
meanwhile...no recaps given in between chapters.
Even if one were to play this game in a single sitting, they would not remember these answers...

Perhaps in a way he would like it to be something like Blue Prince, where you should be writing down notes? I mean, I know it's not really expected in a "silly porn game" but if other games can expect you to take notes and write down obscure shit, why can't this one?

I think this game would be pretty much impossible to play without the walkthrough, as there are so many choices to make, many of them critical. OK, some are pretty obvious, like what's 25% of 40% of 160, but plenty are not. I suppose by using the walkthrough one is making it a VN rather than a true game, but it's a price I am willing to pay.

I'm glad Cari isn't planning on moving to DAZ. Setting aside the discussion of how DAZ games look most of the time, its learning curve would be yet another thing to factor into the already growing wait between updates.

This is also what I was thinking. Lorelei becomes the new princess/regent so that Caly gets to adventure with us. While Lorelei's on the throne, she improves relations with humans and a new golden age for Hyril'ar is found in the partnership between humans and elves or something cute like that. Towards that, I also suspect that Caly might ally with some human kingdom to help her win the war, but I'm less confident about that.
