To your first "point",
I'd suggest you haven't played the game. Literally, the MC almost dies for her multiple times, but yes: obviously he's "the ENEMY". I could see Calypso previously making that connection maybe, but if she still thought it as "all a long con", there's no way she'd have let herself get "sullied" by the MC in v0.9.0. It would be both "beneath" her and a serious lapse in judgement given his being "the ENEMY". What a silly contention. I feel like you need to reply this (at least the last two releases) to have any conception of what she might be thinking. Honestly, you seem to be taking past experiences with women and slapping them on Calypso. So sure, I won't put it past the realm of possibility that she could behave like that. Anything is possible, ofc. But there's literally no hint that she still suspects anything of the kind from the MC.
As for the 2nd paragraph, what part of "over time" do you not understand? I feel like your response was basically: "I NEED TO DISAGREE BECAUSE I NEED TO DISAGREE!" I find little to no coherence to your argument, TBH. Are you just posting knee-jerk reactions or something? Looking at your responses to others, you come across as pretty unreasonable. It feels like either someone agrees with you or you'll dismiss anything they say out of hand.
I suggest it's you who haven't played it. If
he's Immortal (which we're yet to see any proof of, mind you, so far all we've seen is pointing to him being powered by calypso in some way, that's it), all those deaths mean nothing. Literally.
"I won't put it past the realm of possibility that she could behave like that." - she literally behaved exactly like that at the start of 0.8. I dunno where your eyes were.
"But there's literally no hint that she still suspects anything of the kind from the MC"- I didn't say still, I responded to your "IF".I know it's hard to comprehend the concept of changing one's mind in light of new evidence, but please try. Because it's usually what normal people do. If your best friend is discovered to be a cannibal tomorrow, are you still gonna hang out with him? Yeah, thought so. But you never know, right? Calypso just might go "yeah, he turned out to be the literal devil incarnate according to our history and beliefs, but nah, too much bother, not gonna focus on it". Cuz she's definitely so airheaded.
"what part of "over time" do you not understand?" - Okay, I'll spell it out, since apparently I'm talking to goldfish, who can't think more than 1 step ahead. In order for a change to appear there needs to be a cause. That POTENTIAL cause (because from what we've seen that alone is definitely not enough) so far has been MC being much more exceptional than what your average elf thinks humans are (humans, not elves, so there's still a reason to consider us a lower species). That's one person out of biliions. But let's imagine for a moment that some-fucking-how elves never heard of the idea "exception that proves the rule" and won't use it to justify changing nothing. Okay, now all you have to do is roll the dice on nat 20 a few thousand times in a row so that the asshole elves all die in the war - because that's surely what always happens in war instead of the opposite, lmao - and the rest have an overwhelming majority and even want to entertain the idea of changing the general perception of humans based on one individual in a realm ravaged by recent years or decades of kinslaying massacre. Because SURELY they have nothing better to do. And all this time there'll have to be a demonstrable reason kicking around for them to look at and think "maybe they're not so bad after all". This has a combined chance of winning a lottery twice in the same day. But hey, I'm just a contrarian, right?
