man, everyone wants people to just die in the next update, huh? This reminds me when people thought a while back that Orion was for sure gonna die and be a ghost in Eternum after getting wounded, cuz how else could he possibly live?

Sarcasm aside we gotta remember that for all the drama, Caribdis has put in a LOT of Red Herrings. And I mean a lot. Hell, he even has a server where the gang find the first Gem of Doom, "The Red Herring".

I think people have some twisted fantasy or very low levels of optimism. Nobody in the LIs are getting murked/killed/offed/murdered.... . The backlash will be crazy and Caribdis will never do something like that

Now people want deaths everywhere, apparently it conditions some to find certain works ‘more adult’... In my opinion, many have been overfed with series like GOT or Walking Dead, etc., and think that a good work must take risks by killing off main characters. Look at how the last season of Stranger Things was received.

First of all the last season of stranger things and GOT were shit,second no one wants to kill the main character coz it feels cool it just tells u that the story is the boss and given the circumstances anybody could be at risk and die.The last seasons of both the above said shows had very high stakes and extremely difficult situations to get out alive and yet they did coz what? PLOT ARMOUR.so yeah people are not overfed they are just sensible in dissing these shows.
coming to Eternum,of course we cant kill any of the ladies coz the story doesnt demand it yet,may be the writer decides to kill them in the future he has to provide substantial plot points as to why he did that.although i dont think he would do that in a porn game with a diverse fan base of each girl plus the plot doesnt need anyone of the main characters to die,not yet atleast.

one of the big things to keep in mind regarding if anyone of the crew died in the cliffhanger is that it says that people were only dying if they were taken out of Eternum forcefully

my thoughts are that they were save by Nova , because more than likely she found out and called them to warn them or she went to Alex apartment and warmed them .
but Nova will be the one Li in trouble on the real world 'cause she will be blamed by Ulysses ,(the error killing people on Eternum was made on purpose to find out who hacked into Eternum and from where it did it) that will mean the other Lis will be in the crosshair of everybody because their association with Nova .

Yeah, I'm almost completely positive that most of what's happening is actually the Founder's plan; he seems to care very little about what actually happens in Eternum and is waiting for a very specific outcome (namely when the 10 gems of doom are gathered in one spot. With one left and both holders of the other 9 being on their way to grab it, it's practically end game from his stand point.

I also have a working theory that time loops to some extent based on a few glitchy happenings throughout the story (like Orion making the wrong choices during the Elf trial and dying) and that one of the bad endings would mean Orion becomes the new Founder.

I really like this part because it shows us potential endings for the story.
A) Sacrifice the ones you love for power, bad ending (Orion King of Eternum without LI)
B) Sacrifice the ones you love to save others, bad ending (presumably this is what leads to the timeline reset by Orion if Idriel dialogue in the Elf Jail about him "finding a way to return" is a hint to what happened in most previous instances)
C) Don't sacrifice the ones you love to save others, bad ending (presumably this is another reset by Idriel because she wants freedom)
D) Don't sacrifice the ones you love and somehow save others, presumably cannon good ending

There are no variable assigned in this choice so this choice won't change anything but taking the amulet will assign a variable if you check the code.

like "Oh no, the girls said they were gonna log in at Alex's house at 10pm" only for none of them to have logged in yet due to some unrelated reason.

Unrelated reason: The girls are comparing notes what the MC have been up to, MC gets "ambushed" by them when he arrives.

Founder definitely did something so Bardot ans Ulysses could make the implant that could access Eternum. A narcissist like Bardot would never give up the founder title to someone, so even if he just discovered it he made other "mortals" able to access it....technically that's not a scam. But yes the grand scheme might be so that players who collect all the gems will eventually go to him like Orion, Nancy and Nova discussed after returning to Tortuga. He might just take all the gems for himself

Also, unless I just missed it, we aren't actually given a number, just it starts with 6 and was big enough to be a massive deal. But given that no one is supposed to die for real in Eternum it could be as realtively small as 6000 and still be a big deal since it everyone is at risk, and it means the company could go under, since the number should be 0 people die irl because of Eternum.

Those answers by the Founder made it so hard to answer, there´s no good answer to give him because both of his replies imply something horrible will happen either way. I think that was the first time I went to the walkthrough.
