Gentlemen, the few ladies and the virgins out there, I seek an audience with you all...visual novels are a form of media that compels us to crave more of it in ways few other forms of media do... this is because of the freedom and power granted to us in such games in the form of choice.


What is this choice I'm talking about? Why does it matter? Why am I posting this on a gooner thread? Why do I support recognition for all with three inches or less? All very valid questions which I shall answer.

I've always said authors are some of the scariest humans out there, since those are the kind of people capable enough of forming various personalities, relationships, systems and worlds to work in a coherent manner, like Eternum for example.

Sure its not THE BEST story out there but from an AVN's standpoint, it shines as a pinnacle of storytelling, a story which you can shape to be whatever you will it to be, this, is the choice I speak of, to take part in the making of a future as your own main character to make a future for you.

Now this brings me to why this is important, it may seem dumb to say this in an adult thread, again, and it may get buried and forgotten but for whoever sees this, why not try out the shit you see here in real life(I mean the positives).

Be cautious of the words you speak as they forge your relations, unlike normal games, AVN's usually focus heavily on desicions, with numerous branching paths, yes, its hard to find peak like this one but they exist, one for everyone's situation, a way to help even if a little to figure out how to solve your own issues.

Now I wanna say that these are the ramblings of a random gooner on a gooner thread and real world problems have soo many complexities and you can ignore it for all I care.

Was... Was there an actual point here? The only thing I could parse from this was "think before you speak" which... is just how all human interaction works anyway? AVNs didn't exactly invent the concept that people will respond more positively to one statement than another.

I don't understand why you only refer to Virgins? I'm a Capricorn, but I'll answer you if it's allowed.
I believe that the game would be interesting even if it had minimal or no sexual scenes.
Even the game is designed in such a way that even if it is finished, it can make more than one season.
Because the worlds are too many and mythology has no limits. It depends on the perspective you look at the game and what interests you about it. If you see it as another sex game, no matter how good it is, at some point you will get bored of it. However, if you are also interested in the story, then the wait is worth it.

I’m still at the start of the game, but honestly I don’t see the point of the choices you make, because most of the time they don’t really matter and the scene ends the same way anyway.

So yeah, like I said, the choices feel pointless. And if they actually matter later on, please don’t spoil it for me, since I’m still early in the game.

They're not really pointless... For the plot purposes sure... But the Dahlia one you mentioned is the best example of how they're not pointless from a character perspective: you survive either way, but in one choice you abandon Dahlia and run away and in the other you stay to protect her...

turn on *skip unseen text* option in preferences. Start the playthrough over and press tab. It will take like 10-15 minutes to reach the ending of 0.8(Better have text walkthrough open if you don't remember some choices). Or,you can try using someone's save,and that's not really safe.

I’m still at the beginning of the game, but I kinda feel like Thanatos in Eternum is inspired by Thanos in Marvel, especially with the whole thing about collecting the stones, just like Thanos did, to take control of the universe.

Exaktly Thanatos and Thanos they have the same name meaning and both are Titans. Marvel took also things from Mythology.

Most of the choices just amount to a potential bump in relationship status (or in certain scenes closing off a romance entirely). There's very few choices you can make that actually impact the overall story. That is mostly set in stone. So the story is pretty linear but it's a good one IMO. Your choices mostly amount to, do I want a full harem play through or do I want to skip some of the girls. I'm not sure how this is a legit decision but some people make that choice.

Also guys now that you mentioned Orion's father, and a few pages back there was mention about Orion being brainwashed due to his dreams. What the fuck did he do in UK? He wasn't on Eternum, this was mentioned in dialogue, i think. If i remember correctly he spend weeks there. Possibly visiting his grandmother and grandfather? Which to be honest, given how he moved in UK with his father from USA i am not sure how that fit.

Anyway, the point i wanted to raise, was do you think some out of Eternum stuff happened that he would learn later? Like the Syndicate doing something to him?

Is not brainwhased he just can't remember.The nightmares are an enigmatic guide like a puzzle that you have to put together piece by piece until you find one end and then find the next puzzle and slowly start to put them together.
The nightmares are his memories but he must want to remember, there must be a very good reason to try a good motivation. The nightmares are future and past together is one timeline or maybe many together.

It is the same full game but compressed. In most cases, the difference in quality is minimal, if noticeable at all, on smaller screens.

It's hard for me to imagine anyone not choosing the harem options in this game. Like, I kind of understand it some games... I go full harem route no matter what, but there have definitely been games where I didn't like all of the LIs and wouldn't have cared if I had accidentally skipped them. But all the LIs in Eternum are great. There's not a single girl in this game that I would skip.
