Exactly. The...Cariverse (?
) just has some absurd elements as comic relief elements. I can understand if that infringes on someones immersion, but really Eternum isn't exactly a realistic game to begin with. Still not the same thing dude. Idk what you are trying to prove here. Raul and Noah story arc makes no sense at all. At least, as of EP9. We don't know yet the rest of the story.
Stabby, Hiromi, Asmodeus... All of them were helping OIALT MC for FREE. They did NOT beg money for anything. They had their own reasons to help him.
Stabby helped him because he owned his freedom to him. Hiromi helped him to get rid of the Azazel's dead body because he couldn't want to attract the attention of the police. Asmodeus helped him because he hated Astaroth and wanted to end his cult.
As I said before mafia bosses do not act like errand boys and help kids for a few dollars. Because they don't need money. Especially if they operate in a huge region like the West Coast of America.
You would have been right, If they had helped him for free from the beginning of the story. But they didn't. I mean, they were literally begging for money during Nancy's yoga session... and also Orion paid them a lot of money for their help in the bank robbery.

I dont want to be mean or anything, but this game lost its spunk. It had quirky humor and story, but feels like it burned out and became pretty boring. I played it for hours when started, now I cant get thru last update...

Not explicitly yet, but in the cases Orion can die in Eternum it is hinted at that the founder might now have some form of power over him after his life is saved by the Amulet.

If you're not into Eternum anymore it's ok. You can always look for other options that fulfill you. Same thing happened to me with Summer's Gone & Where It All Began (Ocean) and Intertwined (Nyx).

And that's the problem: you're operating under the assumption that they are SIMPLY mafia bosses when it's shown in the story that they ALSO moonlight as soldiers for hire who would do things so long as they get paid. So what happened back at the gym is not that two mafia bosses bowed to the whims of a horndog who wanted to take out his competition, but rather two mercs stood by the old principle of "we don't wreck shit unless we get paid." And got paid they did (even if it was just peanuts in comparison to what they probably earn in a day).

Wait to see the rest of the story for what? They were talking about goddamn Sarajevo back in the heist. They WERE soldiers of fortune who also happened to be mob bosses. And I don't see why that would bother you when characters with weirder career progression paths than theirs already exist in the setting.Perhaps. Lets wait and see the rest of the story.

Uhh, I understood the flashbacks and the smiling on Nova's side as something akin to realizing the harem situation and accepting it (and maybe if embrace/fanatsize about it).

and for all we know they may not even be heads of a mafia family. they might not have any family or subordinates at all. maybe they just laid claim to the west coast territory on a whim, and they are just john wick level fighters so the other families came to the conclusion that they would lose more trying to get the territory than just letting them be. and they are not errand boys. they ask for payment as a principle. never moving for free.
and you question that, but not the whole premise of the game ? an immortal that use the stolen power of elves from another world to make humans cast their souls and consciousness into astral projections of their bodies to travel worlds full of dead people souls being controlled by that immortal and all of it is passed as a game to Earth population just so he can manipulate them into searching for the artifacts he needs ?
both require a huge amount of suspension of disbelief.

I interpreted it as she saw in that moment that all the girls in the flashback have the same feelings as her for MC and are even closer to her than Nancy is. so both potential for more fun, and potential for the harem to go smoothly like it did for herself.
I think she already accepted the harem when MC chose the right answer, but might still have some understandable reservations. she realized just before the flashbacks, that she didn't feel awkward when watching MC with Nancy even though she said she would. she liked watching. so her reservations might have been obliterated at that point. that's why the flashbacks should be more about her exploring her options

and I can't agree more. I can't insist enough on the fact that the nightmare scene that a lot of people disliked here is a very important factor into making the harem and the threesome happen. without it, we would still be in the statu quo.
it makes Nancy decide on actively making the harem happen because she was already the first to realize the feelings of everyone, and she didn't want to lose MC nor hurt her daughters, so her solution to protect everyone is to create a new family. and Nova having just lived through the worst outcome for her would be very open to any alternate solution, she was ready to sacrifice herself for the sake of everyone, but Nancy offered the solution she didn't dare to dream of: getting everything she really wants.
the transition you detailed, I think Nova goes through it very quickly, she processed it all in the blink of an eye and didn't hesitate
and she always had an excuse she could hide behind to indulge into her voyeurism. the anonymity of doing it behind a screen helped her to distance herself from her kink too. now there is no barrier. people know she watches, she can't hide. she felt safe with them and could admit it to herself. doing it with maat, she was still hiding her face, while she didn't with Nancy. the flashbacks shows the girls she feels comfortable enough with to do it without hiding. Imho.
