I won't speak for others, but my grandmother has been sick for 5 years with a 4 stage cancer. It was only at the end of winter that they started to deny her chemotherapy because they feared she might have a heart attack. And maybe the doctors just didn't see the point in it anymore, because it wouldn't have cured her, but only delayed the inevitable. So the "treatment" was moved to the house, which simply meant a death sentence for the person.
Since spring she was no longer mobile and her condition began to deteriorate sharply, so my family and I had to visit her every day. It was not until the end of May that she passed away.
So it's good if none of your friends or relatives have had it. My friend's father hung himself on the door because he couldn't stand the pain he was in and didn't want to become a burden to the family because then the same scenario would have awaited him. To see someone rotting alive and you can't do anything to help them is something I would never wish on anyone.

What do you expect from this place?
Most of us pirates who pay for, in better case, a mirror part of the games they play. Some of us are entitled bitch who like to throw a tantrum at everything that goes against their wishes.
Most of us have seen some devs come and gone, some shaddy ones, some genuine and lot of them between those two point on the scale. Some finished their games, some not and so on.
Yet, most of us are sceptical, if dev number 319 write another sob story (nothing directed at PipPoad or any other dev per se - just writting the plain observation).
So, for you, PipPoad, I do wish the best to you and your loved ones. Sure, I hope, as almost everyone here, for an update, but RL (shit) comes first, as always.

I'm late seeing this, but I lost my maternal grandmother to cancer couple of years ago, so I totally get how you feel.
Ignore the insensitive idiots who have no empathy (some people forget devs are human beings too), and take the time you need.
When you feel you can get back, we will be ready and welcome you back.

Hey, guys, quick announcement.
First, I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me during this time and shared their condolences - it's hard to overemphasize and generally find any words to express my gratitude. Thanks to you I managed to get through these difficult times and I hope that I will be able to make content for you.
The development and patron content will start to be published on August 1st, starting with wallpaper of the month votes, character sheets and WIP stuff, of which we have already accumulated quite a lot.
As for the development itself - given the most general estimates, I think that the new version will be released around October-November, maybe even earlier. I'll keep you posted, so stay tuned.

Catching up on the schedule with a new monthly wallpaper vote. The previous ones will be published in descending order, 1-2 weeks apart.
For some time now, I've had a few concepts in mind for unique Nox enemies. Personally, I like them all and will most likely all appear in the game in the future. So, vote for the one you're most interested in!
NSFW wallpaper versions for this vote will include "action" with random human girl. In the next vote later this month, we'll choose which of the game's characters these enemies will meet.
Dryad — affeminate creature covered in Nox plants, able to control vines and emit vapors that can be both poisonous and act as an aphrodisiac.
Slime bomber — a creature with a very bloated body that blows itself up and covers its victims with a thick slime that prevents them from moving and starts the infection process.
Absorber — faceless creatures resembling female mannequins. They're attacking the victims and completely absorbing it, making it a part of their body. Can mimic mannequins in stores and shopping malls.

Just recently, I discovered that any women's models now have some sort of slider enabled by default that makes them become more sporty. I still don't know where it came from, so now I have to keep an eye out to make sure I don't turn all the characters into gym-goers. Apparently it only affected a few characters in the finished renders (Elina and Jex included), but since I intended them to be sporty anyway - I don't think it's a big deal. Just need to make sure Clara's model is okay.

Well, it would be fun if you ever include RE characters in game story but it might breach copyright. But i guess that shot is just for fun and will not be part of the game.
Maybe call them Ada Wang, Chris Greenfield, Jill Velentino & Leonardo Kennedy

Sounds fun, but as much as I would like some games\movies - I'd rather not use characters from there in my game. Except in the form of Easter eggs.
