The 'Installation' instructions on the opening post is your best friend. All four downloads are required and you have to install them in order (oldest to newest). If you installed the game correctly the version will say 0.75 on the first splash screen and you'll only have one .qsp file in your Evil 2 game folder and one 'pic' folder also (both should be located in /Evil 2/Evil/).

I wonder if there's a solution for the game slowing down: I found only one solution (delete game, restart windows, reinstall game) but when I load a slow saved game it keeps going slow. Is there any other and effective solution I still ignore? Or should I play the game on a VM with a different OS?

Deleting the game and reinstalling it doesn't do anything. There's only one temporary file that the game creates 'vlclog.log'. This is a temporary file used for video playback. Delete that file and your save games and you have a brand new clean installation of the game. Rebooting Windows can help however in some cases but usually only on slow systems with low memory (RAM). I personally recommend rebooting any Windows PC every 24 hours or once a day to ensure a good running and stable OS. You can often go multiple days without issue but I've seen too much instability if you don't reboot for 5 days or longer.

True story - I was working as an IT administrator and the financial employees kept having issues with their computers roughly once a week. This went on for 6 weeks until I finally did some digging and asked them lots of questions. It turns out that it took too long for their PC to boot up each day because it was heavily loaded with financial software. Because they couldn't use their PC for 5 to 10 minutes after arriving at work, they simply never turned it off or rebooted it. Their operating system (OS) became unstable after 5 to 7 days of continual use. A reboot solved the issue every time but until I asked some probing questions it was a mystery. I had informed the staff, through several emails, that I recommended that they turn their computers on in the morning and shut them off when they leave for the day. Everyone was doing this except for the financial staff. I scolded them and insisted that they follow my advice. Problem solved!

The game starts rudderless where the game expects you to use OUTSIDE references to use the sandbox portion of the game till the game starts to trigger events and become less sandbox.

You you understand just how ass backwards this approach is? You should have events at the START of the game to teach the player WTF is going on in the game. I spent hours and hours working to get some income bought a legit business, the store. Got that profitable to buy another and so on. This took me fucking ages. I eventually got 5 stores going very profitable was able to save up for a brothel to finally get into the game proper and things went to shit because you are too lazy to explain the mechanics of you own game.

bought a brothel and lost fucking everything because your game doesn't register my earnings with the Nigerian chap, from the strip club. I am like WTF I just got the brothel just got it producing cash with 2 whores 1 Madame. He complains gives me three whores I put them to work. Now my 1 madame and 5 whores are making more cash and that nigerian guy is back in the morning and steals all my cash. WTF? How does losing over 100k make sense to you as a mechanic? If I owe him money and I have the capital investment to cover the brothel and the money he wants WHY IS HE ON MY ASS?????????????

This mechanic is fucked in the head. Seriously I have no idea how the fuck it is suppose to work. We make a deal where i owe him 50%. OKAY 50% of WHAT? The earning of the whores? Okay so how the fuck do I pay him? Because he comes to my house in the fucking morning before I can fucking do anything. I made arrangements with him so he shouldn't be angry with me but every fucking day for two days he is one me in the morning WTF? The Brothel made cash from between 24 and 30 clients the second night, the first two nights were less with 2 working the floor vs 5 the next night but still making cash for those two nights.

There should be an event that walks the player through exactly what is expected because this is fucked in the head. Also why the fuck are these triggers on a one day timer, why are they not on a weekly timer. One day makes zero sense. Yeah he wants his cash but i literally get an income report for the night and he expects to be paid before I can do anything in the game. And because you are too lazy to make a couple of tutorial events for each system in the game I have no fucking idea what is going on. Did I miss something? Does he expect a fixed income? Is the brothel not covered by some mechanics because no one expected me to start with a brothel vs street walkers?

I have no fucking clue because the game doesn't explain anything to me so I have no actual knowledge of what is suppose to happen vs what is a bug.

right this moment the game is a boring fucking grind. And you the developer made it such, but you also made it a grind with NO explanation of the basic systems in the game. The beginner guild isn't a guide of those systems. It says use this system to do x not how to use the system.

honest question but is there a way to find up certain guides or progression steps, rn i have a mansion, got like 40 gang members, a factory running tons of stores, plenty of whores and slaves, but i dont seem to get any form of progression story wise, am i supposed to do something talk to some1, i went to the strip club talked with all of em, but they kinda only give pointers, can i attack cartels or should i or what am i really supposed to do now, is there a certain person i need to find, also havent found any relatives in the world yet, is any of this even somewhat documented?

I finally got around to playing with your mod.

Store managers don't really fit in well to factories. Factories aren't stores and aren't influenced directly by high society contacts. Personally, I would just use your store manager feature for product stores and leave factories alone, however you could separate the two and have the following:

Store Managers for product stores
Factory Managers for factories (either require a male or a dom female)

I can see a Store Manager managing several product stores but each factory realistically would require one manager for each factory. They are big with lots of employees.

Factories are already huge money makers (and a bit unbalanced overall) but you could have the factory manager negotiate better prices on manufacturing contracts. Again, my personal opinion is to not touch factories with your Store Manager feature but I'm not going to stop you and the choice is yours.

I added this condition to trigger hive_homesex:

I don't see a point in displaying your hive information if the girl isn't a BDSM Dom. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

If you add new NPC variables you have to add them to the clear list in 'dyn2' - $d_clean_NPC=

If you've added more NPC variables than this then they'll need to be added also. Player and non-NPC variables don't need to be included here.

Your added 'Asset' variable in the variable tracking isn't very descriptive as I had to look up what NPC variable you were referencing here (had no clue). Perhaps "rich" or "high society" would be a more descriptive name.

I've only lightly tested your mod and haven't gotten to the point of turning a BDSM Dom into a sub. There aren't that many BDSM Doms in the game to begin with so this specific feature doesn't appeal much to me personally but it may to other players. I do like the idea of them having a lower domination score when you start sex (in the future) if you cover them in cum while getting them down to a low domination score during sex.

I know nobody is actually working on this game in depth currently. But would it be a massive code change to maybe add something like a business manager to run your businesses? They could sign new contracts in factories increase income from shops etc.

Similar to the whore and slave manager who manages their incentive etc. Could this actually be done?

Business Manager Hire cost £20k daily cost £5k ........... Bonus 15% increase in sales in businesses


Similarly maybe a new gang activity like protection racket.

Just ideas maybe if someone takes the game up they could possibly implement them if able to be done.

Be careful if he catches you twice, you get beaten up all your whores are stolen and all your money as well you have to start from scratch again.

Wait for a gang member to get a Kill and then train them to be a Hitman and then put out a hit on Mabusu once he is dead, make a deal with the police chief for them to ignore your slaves/whores (he will ask for 25% cut)

Hey Guys, i know that Qsp has some performance issues. I use it for years and i figuered out that the right player version and webp files are the best combination. I use it without problems.

I was so nice and convert all pictures (No videos or sounds files included).

Its all for version 0.75 and includes all updates.

I just changed the game qsp file and changes all .jpg and .png files to .webp.

For common understanding Gif files are the most performance killer for qsp games. (Evil 2 dont have anyone was just for information)

I included even in the Rar file the newest qsp player with updated video support.
Its still poor programmed qsp but much better and more stable. I use it for a long time for a lot of other games.


You all just need to download all video and sound files or just copy the files into your existing Evil 2 folder.

There is nothing changed in the GameQSP so everything is Vanilla i just changed the pic path of course so it works. So no Mod or something else.

For the Game/Site owner you really should make Webp to your standard its really much more smoother. But its of course your decision.

I think you misunderstand something.
The original developer is not around anymore for a very long time.
What is done is some modding and event adding and bugfixing by some very dedicated fans.
There will be no redesigning of the core mechanics of the game.

Also, being a little bit nicer and respectful in your postings towards people who do all this stuff for free in their spare time would be helpful.

Yes, a few NPCs start off as junkies but the majority do not. You can make an NPC a junky by offering them drugs over time. If you have a good relationship with a junky (they may have to be your whore, I don't remember) you can wean them off of the drugs, trying to get them clean. There is a small chance that they will reject trying to get clean and leave your services. There's also a cheat in the cheat menu that will make an NPC clean - 'Cure Drug addiction'

Evil 2 is for elite players. This is the core of the problem. Little hand holding is done in this game. There was no OUTSIDE resources when I first played the game. I learned how to play it over time. skybarbie wrote the Beginner's Guide to help players such as yourself. No, it doesn't explain how everything works but if you read and follow the guide, you should be able to figure things out rather quickly. Evil 2 is a terrible game for players who require a step-by-step guide or need everything explained to them. Again, Evil 2 is for elite players. But because you couldn't figure things out, we are 100% at fault and hold all the blame.

You claim you read the Beginner's Guide but didn't follow it. You basically did everything in reverse order. You claim that your first whores worked in the brothel. The brothel is usually the last whore/slave job location as it costs at lot of money to purchase. You purchased product stores and had multiple running before getting your first slave or whore. In the Spoiler section of the Game Overview on the opening post (OP) it says the following:

"When you start the game, your first goals should be earning enough money to purchase a cheap car, a taser/shocker, and the farm. You should develop lots of contacts, friends, and lovers throughout the game and slowly corrupt them."

You didn't do any of that and if you did purchase the farm you didn't use it until much later. You also didn't corrupt girls and turn them into your whores and put them to work until much later.

Another player already mentioned this but the reason Mabuta took all your whores and slave is because he wasn't earning a profit from you. Mabuta only gets money from the illegal whore and slave trade. Your brothel is a legal business which Mabuta doesn't get a cut from. That's why he was pissed. In the Beginner's Guide it says the following:

"Assign your whores and slaves a variety of jobs, don't just focus on one or two or you may end up having trouble paying Mabuta his cut"

I created the guide to help players trigger the 18 unique events and two major stories in the game. This didn't exist before and I created it because a lot of players were getting frustrated.

We've improved and enhanced the basic features of the game but didn't rebuilt it from scratch. Evil 2 isn't for everyone. It's especially troublesome for the new generation of players who are used to playing Ren'Py Visual Novels where they only have to click on the left mouse button or hit the space bar to play it. When I've played games like Skyrim I didn't have everything explained to me and have my hand held the entire time. I figured things out a little bit at time and this game is the same way.

We've added two guides to help players get a better start to the game. You blame us because OUTSIDE resources have to be used to play the game when none existed for me when I first played it. Did I rant and rave and throw a fit? Nope! I decided to become a developer for the game and improve things, fix lots of bugs, and add new features, events, and stories (all for free).

This is interesting and players are free to contribute but I have some concerns. Pictures aren't a major source of slowdown in the game. JPGs are small and don't use much resources. They work great even though they're an old format and WebP is newer and sexier. So I'm not sure what is being gained here...

Videos on the other hand are resource heavy but you didn't touch those. If you did a lossless conversion of all the videos into WebM then that would be fairly significant.

What are the details on the QSP Player that you bundled? We've tested several and the only one that works fully is the one that's bundled with the game. All the others can't play the game correctly. We use the Infinity QSP Player by Infinite. If this is the "updated" QSP Player you're using, please provide a link and we'll investigate it. The other QSP Players we've tested either crash at certain points in the game or won't play the game's videos.

If someone releases a new patch or game version are you going to maintain your version as well? Because if you aren't then it's rather pointless IMO. If you made this version mostly for yourself then it makes sense unless you plan on updating it long term.

In the save I provided I could not take the girl back to my apartment and have sex with her there which I could before.
