The player mod that Useck introduced does something similar to this. You can ask one of your NPCs to manage your stores. This increases profits based on how many high society contacts you have. It isn't perfect and I don't like the fact that it also affects factories (when it really shouldn't) but this feature was added recently.anyone know if this is doable if someone picks the game up again?
Two pop-up messages were introduced in the last several versions. One pops up on the first day and one on the second day. This is a light push in the right direction. One of the pop up messages also informs the player about the two guides in the game and the use of cheats to customize the level of grind they are comfortable with. So there is some help when you start the game. There didn't used to be.To be fair, when I first played Evil 2, I also did the same thing. I didn't read any guide, I didn't read any spoilers. (I didn't want spoilers to ruin the story) I just played. like how I would play any other game. The natural progression for me was to get a job (make money). Get the business going. then invest in farm/houses. I owned a three business and a factory before I even touched a girl.
Didn't think anything of it since it's a sandbox. I built a business empire. Then some <removed> wanted to cash in on my hard work. Nuh uh, that bitch needs to go. started looking to see if police did anything. nothing. looked into other means. found gang. started stealing and leveling up as a criminal. Made some assassins. The rest is hiStory.
I thought it was decent business sim but crappy porn game because i didn't even find the "Evil" portion (the actual game) until many hours in...
Most of that could have been avoided if there had been an event, like running into a boxer who is a gangster looking to recruit you for a job or something in the story to guide you towards gang activities. Or even an internal monologue of "I should invest in a car and buy a house in a remote area as quickly as possible."
You mention Skyrim does not explain everything. While Skyrim doesn't explain mechanisms, it guides the player from the beginning on where you should go in the story. It tells you to go to Riverwood. you can ignore that and go anywhere, but it does give you direction on where you should go. Evil does none of that in the story. Hence you can spend literal hours building up business empire before ever touching actual game proper which is the whores and the girls. Things could be different with the current version, but that is how it was when I first played Evil 2.
Evil 2 being for "Elite players" is not the problem. there is nothing Elite about 0 in-game guidance or hint of direction. We call that a design flaw. There is a reason why Zelda moved away from 0 direction since Ocarina of time. Before Ocarina, players could get lost for hours in previous games and never find where to go until they looked up a guide or eventually scooby-doo into right direction. It was same with early metroid games, game design and power unlocks were the guide to alert players to backtrack to previously unreachable places. Even the original Dark Souls, which is notorious for not explaining anything and being a game for "Elite players", gave directions to players. Go ring the bells. It never told you where the bells were, but if you played the game, you know you needed to ring two bells.
Don't let the rude guy get to you Dev, but we can all admit this game could use some in-game direction. No need for hand holding and railroading in sandbox game, just a hint. "I'll meet you at Riverwood." would be a good thing for new players.
A mentor like NPC that tells you about how to get bitches to make money for you would be great addition. Bonus point for laughs if its someone like Andrew Tate to talk you into getting your girls to be Video model/hooker to build a media empire.... now that I think about it, this game is basically story of Andrew Tate.... wow... just realized as I'm typing I'm playing as Andrew Tate.... former kickboxer/boxer branching into online porn business that branches into brothel business....

I remember it being at the bottom of the NPC's options menu. How do you assign someone to manage your stores, i have contact, friends, high society people but i do not know how to assign them? I looked in mansion management, i look in secret menu/legal businesses not there so please can someone help how to use this?
Thanks
Do you have to start a new game for this to take effect as i cant see any options at all on the npc options menu. What is the criteria for them to be able to be selected? Any screenshot available to know what to look for thanks noobtrainI remember it being at the bottom of the NPC's options menu.

Nice, that's fantastic to hear. The problem I had isn't really a problem because I liked the mini business sim it had. the fact that I played many hours without losing interest, without ever finding the main game, speaks volumes in a positive direction. it's great that you guys added some events to guide the players. Two pop-up messages were introduced in the last several versions. We have had players who tried to fight the game since they didn't want to pay Mabuta. You can also refuse to get the Dragon Stone from Bleak Falls Barrow and avoid all the dragons in the game (and your ability to complete the main quest). But you aren't playing the game as intended. It blows my mind the extent that some players go because they refuse to pay Mabuta.
To be honest, we never anticipated that a player's first whores/slaves would work in the brothel as it's quite expensive to purchase. This is a new one. But to be fair, the player was given two pop-up messages about getting whores and slaves working for you right away.
We are a friendly bunch and help players when they ask questions. But the rude player didn't do any of that or ask any questions. Because he couldn't figure it out personally on his own without any help he was fuming at the mouth and went on an angry rant.
Yes, the game could definitely use some improvements on guiding the player further. That's why I said it's mainly for elite players. Experienced players such as myself and skybarbie figured the game out before there were any guides.
Thanks for pointing out the issue. It was the message that passed through the factory—the effect itself didn’t impact the factory. The player mod that Useck introduced does something similar to this. You may want to fix this also if you already haven't. You can ask an NPC to be a Store Manager when you don't own any product stores (only own factories). Thanks for pointing out the issue. It was the message that passed through the factory—the effect itself didn’t impact the factory.
I’ve already uploaded the fix on the same thread.

Hey i use QSP player but after 1 2 Vid´s its chrash! So i updated my work with the Webp convert into the game and try to make the performance better.
I converted all video files (MP4) into Webm after the reply on that work by noobtrain . This was taking a few hours of my time but i hope that change will improve the performance for all or at least some people.
I included all files (Pics, Sounds and Video), the Evil2-spectre1viper.qsp is changed for working with the new files (No modded still vanilla version 0.75)
I would really be thankful about feedback espacily by people with issues before to see if this really makes a big difference otherwise it wouldnt make more sense to work more with it so please be honest.
Changelog:
- MP4 videos converted to Webm (lossless, no quality reduce, same resolution)
- JPG/PNG images converted to Webp
- Changed Evil2-spectre1viper.qsp to work with the files (nothing else changed Version 0.75)
- Rar Archive includes all content from all version so no extra download needed
- Added a updated version from the QSP player (Please use this instead its an important part against crashes/performance issues)
Link for downloading:You must be registered to see the links
(I played the game and other qsp games like Girl Life with that player (since months) and webp/webm content and i never had any issues or crashes but beware some QSP games like "Sara Game" can have a problem with the updated QSP player inside the RAR file but it works with the most games at least on F95 fine. Its more or less just "test it" and when it works it works. When a game would have a problem than a error would pop up and thats it no save loss or else.)
Install instructions:
- Just unpack the RAR file and start the Evil2-spectre1viper.qsp with the included QSP player.
Should look like this:

Programming skill is fairly easy to level, probably too easy. You can max this skill in a month or less with minimal effort.hi, is there a code for programming skill?
and setting store customers
This post by another player pretty much sums things up but you weren't rude so thank you for that:I would say that the problem with this game, which could have reached the heights of other QSP games like girl life or Son of a bitch, is that all content, basically all story content, is gated behind after you collect and achieve everything. You are super, you have thousands of slaves, you have a mansion, you have million dollars, then the the game weirdly transforms into this story type game which makes no sense.
I am not giving my critique as an insult to the devs, I know they are updating this free community project in their spare time. But ideally, content should have been spread through out the game: Beginning, Middle and ending. Having all events locked after you achieve everything is very puzzling decison.
Morever, the game could really use more events with the standard generated NPCs you meet in the street, not just keep adding linear story events at the end of the game.
If you want to look at another slave training game for comparison look at Masters of Ranaa, now that is a supremely well made game with unique content starting form the very beginning when you begin the game and through out your journey, you meet unique NPCs who give you unique quests, acquire unique girls and there is end game as well. Evil 2 has non of that. It just gates everything until you acquire 100000000 of everything.
Again this is not meant as criticism towards anyone. To be honest I have hoped that some of the devs here would develop their own game, something akin to Girl Life but with a guy, there is market for that, instead of updating this game were there is nothing more to achieve once you acquire everything except see linear and scripted porn clips.
