I have noticed the last 2 days that the game crashes a lot , it never crashed before, but it randomly just crashes to desktop and you to reload is there a current issue or is it just needing to update qsp from the bundled one???

A save game right before the error message would be helpful, otherwise I don't know what to look for. I'll look into the feeling ass issue you mentioned.

I haven't noticed an issue and I've played around with version 0.75 quite a bit.
Did you install the game using the download links provided by the developers? Several downloads have been released (not by us) ranging from a torrent to a compressed version to a WebP picture conversion version.
Are you using the QSP Player that comes with the game?
Are you using the latest version (0.75 or 0.75 Patch 1)?
If you did all those things then the problem is most likely on your end. When does the game crash exactly?
Patch 1 with the store managers. using the packaged qsp i have been playing the game for several months this only started happening yesterday. Usually crashes after playing a few videos all of a sudden it freezes and crashes. I am not sure how often the autosave function takes place but it sucks to forget to save and then lose it all since last save.

Unable to reproduce.
As long as I use the QSP Player that comes with the game it never crashes. I played the game for two hours playing nearly 100 videos and it ran perfectly. I went dancing, fucked several girls, and played three different events.
It's hard to say what the issue is unless something has changed recently on your computer. I've seen issues sometimes with anti-virus or if you have malware or a virus installed on your OS.
Almost no one has reported this issue so it's mostly likely a problem on your end. You can try and delete the game and reinstall it but that probably won't fix anything. Don't install the game in a protected folder with permissions such as Program Files, Downloads, Users, Documents, etc.
I have had (rarely) a few times where the game was glitchy and I had to reboot my PC. I recommend doing a full shut down once a day of your PC (not a reboot as a reboot doesn't clear all the cache files like a shutdown does). Working as an IT administrator I've even seen rare cases where the hardware was glitchy and I had to shut the PC down and then pull the power plug out of the back of the power supply for 20 seconds and then plug it back in. This is the only way to fully reset all the hardware components in the PC as power is being supplied to the motherboard even when the PC is off.

Installation
Copy 'Evil 2 - 0_75 Patch 3.7z' to your 'EVIL 2' folder (not the 'Evil' folder inside the 'Evil 2' folder). Right-click on the file - 7-zip - 'Extract Here' - 'Overwrite All' - Select OK to merge and overwrite the existing files. Don't create a new folder when extracting. If you aren't prompted to replace existing files then you didn't install the update correctly.
The 'Installation' section on the OP explains what files need to be downloaded for a new installation.

There's a lot of grey area here as it doesn't explicitly say one way or the other. If you're the child's father they get placed in the Family tab. You're free to interpret this anyway you'd like. You know that the child is yours however and once they turn 16 years old you have access to them. Whether or not the child being yours is known to the mother or to others is for you to decide.

No, sorry. You have to study hard and choose both study options when starting the game to do the University start. So if you aren't planning to do the University start, don't choose any of the study options (Boxing and Streets are the best choices).
You have to have good grades to enroll in the University. This isn't like a community college where nearly everyone is accepted. It's also very expensive and the MC couldn't afford it at game start without a scholarship. The MC could certain afford it later on when he has a steady income but he still wouldn't have the grades necessary to enroll in the University and be accepted to attend.
What the University start offers is the following:
- Classmates
- Attending the University
- College parties
- Join the football (soccer) team - Practice with your team - Play games on Friday
- Help students in the library with getting books and studying

That feature was added by Useck. You can also assign Store Managers when you don't own any product stores. It also doesn't benefit the player if you have more than one Store Manager or require you to have a 2nd if you have more then 10 product stores.
This is his feature and I'm not going to expand on it or fix non-game breaking bugs with it. The feature does need more code to fully implement the feature properly I agree.

- For simplicity, I’ll be rewriting the entire legal business section in the main module using new variables. This is to reduce cross-feature bugs, but it also means players will lose any shops or factories they currently own.

Hmm, what features are you talking about specifically?
Avoiding dealing with Mabuta isn't something we want to encourage as this goes against the intent of the game. The MC starts off as a little fish in the crime world and has to pay his dues. This is a part of becoming a crime boss and a part of the game world the MC lives in. Does it suck? Yes, but it helps the player understand the game world they are now thrust into and how things work. The Mabuta content was a part of the original game. We've been surprised at the extent that players are willing go through to avoid paying Mabuta. That's one reason why we added a pop-up to explain that this is a part of normal life in the world they now find themselves in.
My main concern is breaking save games by making your feature incompatible with existing product stores and factories (they disappear). This is something we've tried very hard to avoid in the past. Why not just add a third business type and leave product stores and factories mostly intact? Or just make improvements to product stores and factories and not make players start from scratch by losing existing stores and factories?
You also aren't editing the latest version of the game. The last time you made a fix you edited version 0.75 instead of version 0.75 Patch 1 so I had to go and do a file comparison between your changes and mine and add your fixes in before I released 0.75 Patch 2. It wasn't that difficult to do but I'd rather not have to keep doing it.
Players can release anything they'd like as long as they don't break the site rules and it fits into the game world. But if it's going to be added as part of the main game it will have more scrutiny. I would rethink breaking existing product stores and factories and just make improvements instead.
I apologize for not updating the latest version earlier — I’ll make sure to stay on top of updates and communicate with you beforehand.
As for the current feature, we can start with:
- Building connections with high society to grow your business
- Paying employees just enough to get by while maximizing profit
- Working with Tony behind the scenes
- Researching and developing your own drugs

And needing 12 prostitutes just to proceed means you basically have to grovel to Mabuta.
My aim is to create a route where the player can grow powerful with legitimate capital — so that by the time they start dipping into the illegal side, they’re already a behemoth who can slap Mabuta in the face.
It sucks being a small fish — but it’s even worse when the game forces you into a single path just because you’re a small fish.
That’s why I hope this can be an alternative route that eventually reconnects with the main story (I assume that’s the Family Trouble arc).
If I wanted to create a way to kill Mabuta right from the start of interraction— would that be considered game-breaking?

I’ve been playing this game since before the Family Trouble route was even developed.
At one point, I even made a change where, if a girl had a sister, there is option to equire their contact which would generate her as a full NPC. Then the MC could get her contact and start corrupting the whole family — kind of like playing the villain in Family Trouble.
But then a new release came out with amazing features. I was torn between my changes and yours... and I gave up.
Since then, I’ve stuck to small changes. You’ve probably noticed I create new location wherever possible so I can keep my changes minimal. That way, when you release updates, I can just hook my stuff back in with minimal effort.

Yes. He's the leader of the illegal whore and slave cartel and has more thugs under him than Tony. He is also well protected. You're a nobody when you start the game.
We're unsure of how to change the attitude that you and others have. Evil 2 is a harsh and cruel world. The "I refuse to pay Mabuta" attitude we're not sure what to do about.
Nearly all games have a direction that they want you to follow. There are quests that help you achieve the goals of the game. Even open world games like Skyrim and Baldur's Gate 3 have a direction that they want you to follow.
The game doesn't force the player to single path although it strongly encourages becoming a crime lord. Players can develop porn games, develop software, open product stores and factories, and other things and never get a single whore or slave. But by doing so they miss out on the 18 unique events and 2 major storylines in the game. You can refuse to get the Dragon Stone in Bleak Falls Barrow in Skyrim, thus bypassing the main quest of the game and just go around killing random mobs in the game world but it goes against the intent of the game.
Most people have a boss that they have to answer to IRL. We have to pay rent or a mortgage to have a place to live. There's a lot of things that we don't want to do and just because this is a game it doesn't remove all the negatives.
Players are welcome to hate Mabuta all they want but he's a part of the game and helps teach the player that they have to work their way up and pay their dues to someone much more powerful than themselves before becoming a crime lord.

Please don't do this. All the events and stories in the game are tied to the MC becoming a powerful crime lord. It takes a good amount of gameplay to achieve this. So if they take additional time following a new route, they'll never make it to the 18 unique events and 2 major stories in the game. We already have problems with players giving up before they get to the unique events and stories in the game. Doing what you suggest will make matter worse, not better. Being able to trigger the first event in the game requires a good amount of effort if they start immediately on the crime lord route. If they wait until later, they'll likely give up and drop the game. The reviews of Evil 2 are filled with players who never triggered the first event in the game and thought that the sandbox portion of the game is all there was. So making this take even longer by adding an additional route is counter productive IMO.
You said that you never made it to the 'Family Trouble' story which means you missed out on 50% of the game. You aren't playing the game as intended and some of your proposed changes go against the game world to fit your own playstyle. No offense is intended. You could create your own game page and create your own mod for the game and achieve what you're describing since some of your changes are trying to make the game fit into your unique playstyle instead of the game world.
