Bro... what the fuck !?
that was insane ! for real, I really enjoyed that bit. Aside from a few times, were the screen glitched in and out of a scene, I had a total blast. Such high quality, for both the renders and the VA. While her tone was not always fitting exactly for the scene, it elevated the experience by a lot, I think. I especially enjoyed the play with distance to the mice, like her wispering into one side of the ear. Other auditory gimmics, like being squeezed between the tits of the old lady, really made this an experience, not just a read.
Only thing that would have made it better, would be a couple of action and dialog choices during the event.
A solid 9/10 for me damn.
On that note, you're saying you want to finish this game. Do you have plans for a next project already, or do you think you'll take a break for a while ?

Thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'll probably finish it, but I'm treating it more like a testing ground for new stuff. I'll do a little update with some fixes and some little scenes, but then I'll focus more on my next game in renpy.
I had fun playing around with voice acting and sound design. Even tho some of it was kinda cringe, e.g. just reading off dialogue with a monotone tone.
VA used well, like a few whispered words in 1 ear in an intimate scene (akin to asmr) can really elevate the experience imo (if you're using headphones).
I also like the idea of using more sound effects and also more background sounds instead of music.
For my next game I'm envisioning something short and sweet.
No text, no tutorial, no questlog, no menu, no guide, no backstory, no "open world", no rpg maker xd.
Just 1 character, 1 room, 1 scene, very scripted with some variance and some player agency.

Yeah the dev got quite the backlash when her model was changed. And I agree with them. Sophie went from "sweet girl next door" to "generic slut #4952". The first model actually fit the character and the story, since she's supposed to be innocent, while being corrupted more and more. In my opinion, the new model gives the impression that she was a slut all along, so there's nothing exciting to see here, just another fuck fest.Sweet sophie is the reason why I want to try this game, but since the models of characters are different from the beginning and later update, plus consider the project had been started for 6 years but with little contents, better to stop after playing all current content.
sounds cool, going more indept into sound design is definetely a good idea, if you are interested in that.
a small, well polished game can be a lot of fun too sometime.
I wasn't even aware Sophie's model changed lol. It's been a while that I played the older content. Are the scenes in the overview, the ones with the newest model? because I think she looks fine, maybe slightly thinner.
I thought Anna's new model looked really good too.
Most are from the old model. You can see the new one on the shower fucking scene and the pic after that. And, like I said, it's only my opinion. The new model lacks the personality that the first one had.
Yeap, they are not marked but you can see the decisions that take you to certain scenes, mainly with the sister in the train which is the most obvious of the bunch

I do think you are exagerating a bit, though.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with most of your criticism but saying that "this is the worst game that has ever existed" in a forum full of AI slop games is like ???
This game may not be the best but it is far away from being the "worst game that has ever existed" lmao

I never said eat shit and die c'mon. Also I did qualify my remarks with a well placed "probably" . That said after years going back to the old hongfire days with rpgmakerACE and all the barely started projects to overly ambitious plans, I've learned that even constructive criticism needs a bit of punch and vinegar, or the person may not take note of whats being said at all.
People will always hear/read/understand what they want no matter what you say to them. Yes it was an exaggeration but I actually think this guys got potential so I wanted to make sure he took notice. My remarks weren't intended to be eat shit and die or die in a fire or anything drastic like that. Merely an overly rambunctious way to say "your good at this but this is a terrible example of your talents when considered as a whole."
