anybody else find the constant jokes/ meta jokes somewhat grating after a while?

fair enough. I just felt like after a while the comedy style was getting old and slowing down the plot.
A little, while playing for the first time. Not enough to skip anything. But now, twenty years later, I am no less nostalgic for any percieved minor flaws as I am for my dear Astrid.
By Jove, if Exiles were to be updated in march. I can already hear my wifes sighs from neglegt.

It's a bit much, yes. But since the game is competently written, filled with sex and actually seems like it's moving towards a goal, I'm willing to let it slide... all over Astrid's oiled-up abs.

You might be right in doubting after all knowing Patreon games it is quite possible that the dev misjudged and it would get delayed.
But considering timepants hasn't been acting similiar to the likes of braindrop last time i checked, i think taking him at his word should be reasonable.

....if he throws in any duckfaces we will know for sure the direction this title is taking. As of now I concur, no reason to doubt his word.
