I just deleted the game. Even if he ends up releasing the update, I definitely don't look forward playing a game that makes me wait years between updates. At this point, I don't even remember most of the story.

It can be easily solved by short section of a "what happened previously".
TBH, every WIP VN with long dev span should have a "previously" and "chapter skip"
BUT, Why do you feel you need to announce you "are deleting the game" / "longer care"???

The purpose of this forum is discussing games and sharing our opinions regarding them, that's all I did. Right now, there is not much else to discuss besides the lack of updates and in what state this leaves the game's future.
It's a bummer because I enjoyed this game quite a bit.

You know this is the one game that when I saw it got the Abandoned tag actually hurt. I mean we all make jokes and shit about next release 2030, but it actually sucks that there's a good chance this gem will probably not get completed.
