Ugh, so it's officially been given the abandoned tag.... Sad to see a good game left in the dust.

This thread has had the "Abandoned" tag for months now. I think if a game doesn't get an update in a while, six months I think it was, the "Abandoned" tag is automatically put on it.
Although the author said he's still working on the game. I think he'll eventually update it, he has shown new stuff, like new characters, from time to time.

Yeah, abandoned tag gets thrown on if it goes without an update for 18 months and it's been a damned long time since this last had one.
I'm not as confident as others here that it will see an update. This seems to be following the same old pattern i've seen far too many times on here now.

It's been 2+ years since the game's been updated. He said it'll come out at the end of March and radio silence since then, now it's almost July. Don't expect it to come any time soon, or at all.
The Dev is alive and chatting about everthing in his discord channel. You can check yourselves, just don't ask when the new update is coming 
Still tho even if it gets an update it'll probably be the last one since there's no reason to stick around if another update would take another 2 years... the dev needs to up his pace if he wants support from the community other wise it's a bust.

Pretty much my thoughts. Abandoned tag, regardless of production status, means people will start dropping off from support, and unfollow, possibly hit the ignore button, on the thread. Even if the game gets another update, there won't be enough people here to care about it. It may or may not get another update or two, after that one even, but still will likely just slowly turn this thread into a ghost town.

This is a hobby. Not his lively hood. He'll go at the pace he want's to go at. Plus y'all here pay 0 nickels for his work he does anyways.

I really hate to do this to someone I like but the guy hasn't pushed out an update since 2021.
We've got over a whole global pandemic faster than he works.
Can ya blame anyone here for not giving him money?
If I wanted to pay for slow development and barely any info i'd have funded Star Citizen.

And none of that makes our statements any less true.
Even if the promises are genuine and he truly does the work anyway, we're still talking years for a single update and a lot of stuff can happen in a matter of years that's not in anyone's control. Even if there's actually gonna be an update "soon", is the next update after that also gonna take two years? Again, a lot of unpredictable stuff can happen in time spans like this.
Interests change, accidents happen not only to him, but also to his potential supporters. The game's gonna get real expensive, if, in years from now, the early supporters need youth juice injections to be able to enjoy the final chapter.

The real fools are the ones still paying his patreon for 0 content for 2+ years without even a guarantee that he didn't just completely abandoned the game.

I'm thinking of starting a game just to abandon it and keep my patron running. It seems like a sustainable way to earn free money
