Also the fact that the next release was supposed to be a Halloween update (2021) not even an actual full release, they couldn't even deliver that.

Exactly. This game is like every other great porn game that's been abandoned a money scam, quick buck then fucks off. Way I look at it don't support this dev anymore till he finishes his product(s). I would not be surprised if there's ppl who probably still support blindly and as to why devs like him don't finish. "hey I still get paid, why finish?"

His patreon is still getting $151 a month. Either those 37 people are coping so hard, or this really is a super shitty money laundering scheme.

HOW DARE YOU!? Stencil has provided an excuse/lie each month since November 2019. Timepants can't even bother to post his lies on Patreon for over a year.

But now Stencil has the excuse that keeps on giving .... he claims his eyes don't work properly.
Now his eyes match the rest of him as well as his PC, they don't work properly either.
As far as Timepants goes, he may not have the excuse portfolio that Stencil has but he's got pretty much the same work ethic. Stencil has lying down to an art because he's been doing it longer.

True, Stencil has kept a consistent stream of sweet nothings for almost half a decade now. Timepants on the other hand just gave up all together. With the except for their discord that is.

A lot of people just forget they subbed to things and pay for decades. AOL is still around because people never cancelled. Some of those are dead people, in prison, or just don't give a shit about 5-50 dollars a month. Just assume netflix went up in price or something stupid.
That's 1.5 million people still paying for AOL. 37 people paying on average 4 dollars, is nothing.

Your bank account still exists, it can take awhile for accounts, even more so for joint accounts, to close.

Yeah a lot of people do the minimum 1$ tiers and sub to many projects at the same time, resulting in forever charges for those projects that die and never pause payments.
On another note I realized this game only lasted a year and a half but has been abandoned twice as long as that (over 3 years). Talk about screwing your fanbase over.

I've seen way worse on this site. Don't be shocked when a fair number of those are 5 or 10 dollars. Right around 10 dollars at least used to be peoples soft point between too much a month, to easy to put down. Remember a cup of coffee in LA costs at least 10 dollars before tip, same with a NY Sub.
