From what I remember, intimacy is optional. You can choose just one, or multiple partners throughout the story. (Some will get jealous) And it is well written with a lot of comedic moments.

I thought choosing one Love Interest locks you out of others since sex senses are mutually exclusive.

I assume all sex scenes has no prerequisite, and characters has no build-in relationship points you need to accumulated to open them up.
AKA you can hop into any fuck however you want when the branch happens, even if you never had intimacy with them before, even tho scenes for different LIs happens exclusively?

He's workin away. There are delays here and there, but he's not making excuses. It'll be done when he can finish it. He did show a journal thing that can display characters and an inventory he had commissioned recently for the next chapter in his Discord.

This game was the most criticized against the developer when he changed the story without completing some quest in chpt 1 however he has accepted the criticism, and is working hard... Have some respect for Mr Dev please.

Time is still working on it when he can. Some people have real life that takes up time away from making VN's (that was not directed at you, just in general).
