I like that despite us being pirates we have some honor among us to wait a week or so so dev can keep going! Says a lot about the kind of dev and his/her to inspire such a thing as well.
he deserves support, he works for it.

Based on your statement the whole F95 should be shut down...
All dev works for it... and that is why if you want to support you go on Patron and you do not download from F95.
This non-written rule of "ethical piracy" is one of the most silly thing I constantly read on this forum.

Yup, this dev is a work horse, he already has multiple completed games under his belt which is rare. Most don't even finish one.
He also doesn't charge much for release day access to new updates. He's earned a sub from me.

Not gonna lie I do wish this dev did do steam releases once he completes a project at the very least as it's my preferred method of support and would love to add them to my Library. While I haven't played all of his games my least favorite one Sharing My Fiancée is still a pretty good game for this niche genre of AVN's. But I get why a dev would choose not to do steam as it's alot of extra work and this dev just probably wants to move on to the next project instead of making more work for himself
it's not really some convoluted rationale such as "ethical piracy" but just plain common sense. People like his product and as much as possible would want him to succeed so they can keep enjoying his work. It's pretty simple.

People that enjoy his work are on Patron and support via work.
You are on a pirate website claiming to support him not pirating the game for....a little while. (As much as possible .. Lol)

not all people that visit this site are pirates either ( even tho alot are) this also is one of the best places to have a discussions about said games. So there is no logic in saying because you are here you have to be a pirate

Ok I am going to play the flip side of the coin. Yes this is a very good dedicated DEV. He does deserve monies from the masses for his time and expense producing game on a single man system. He is gaining a group of loyal fans that contribute to that effort. Now, I have noticed ... that in a couple day his pledged subscriptions slows down. However, once leaked and it gets on the MAIN PAGE where other (who do not know him) Can see the game . See this page and all we say about game and Dev... This then again creates more subscription. EXPOSURE is the key word. Now I do not want to upset the apple cart here to the dedicated subscribers. They are all GREAT. We have GREAT conversations about all his Games. All I am saying is EXPOSURE is a key part of a Dev's growth. Don't shoot me !

Yes, Patreon has message boards, but F95 is a proper forum for discussion: more tools to format text, interact with other members, react to posts, unique member signatures, and plenty of more features is why F95 is a superior place for discussion than Patreon - relegating it to a simple place of piracy at this point in time is just insulting the F95 team.
