I think it's going to disappoint us no matter what. There is simply no way to end a VN in just one update after the last one only started setting up a whole new path.
Eh, "finishing" a project by providing a modicum of closure is appreciated, but this isn't really being finished properly. Don't ever confuse the two ideas as the same.
I don't think we'll see the situation the same way. I'm not worried about how it ends because this game creator has made like 5 games, he always delivers updates every month, his games have an acceptable length, he already said he's going to make another game so I see everything positively.
I can't speak for the development phase of his previous projects, as I haven't been active during them - but EtBA seems to me the first project he rushed to completion out of burnout, no?
Hmm, just now noticed that the English initials of the game EtBA, in Russian reads as etba-fucking!
Kinda? But I think it's more than that, because if you'll recall, EtBA was originally intended as a shorter story overall. Then, somewhere mid game he started to run with it more because people were really enjoying it. Then we got to the point we are at now.

When the Dev start this project , he say this project will be short one with only 5 episodes. After that he extended to 7 episodes.
