Doc I know it takes longer but for some reason it's faster when you copy each file one by one or in groups of a few GBs (3 to 5) at a time. I took and had to copy 500GB(most of it was mods for Sims 4) not to long ago for my sister when her dog eat her laptop to a new laptop.
I'm guessing you didn't notice that there's just under 1 million files?
1 million files is typical for 500GB (Doc just be glad you're not having to copy them twice once to a external drive then from the external drive to the new pc
).

Well after Niki broke the rendering PC it's now going to be about a month before we see EC v0.7a and will be about 12 more months until we see the end of 23 Sisters even with Workaholic Doc using up the South east supply of coffee and pulling a 72 hour work day every day.
