Bro, I can't tell you how many cultivation manhua I've read that come across like gibberish because of how bad the Chinese translation is. And the fact no translator can come up with consistent cultivation setting terms only makes it harder to follow WTF is going on in each one.
lol term aren't that much of a problem, when a city get three name because there's a us city name, the original name and a translation in english of the name it's worse to me than just inconsistency about sword intent/heart or other technicality that are pretty clear with the context ... except those prefecture lvl ... i can't imagine what it mean >< and most of the time the realm and other term are confusing because new or sniping team decide that for a better understanding they have to "interpret" differently ^^ but honestly till now the worst i can remember was some manhuaus "tl" of some survival nerd on an island with prehistoric panda, cavemen and english colonial explorator ... mc was using shitload of chemical formula which didn't get very well trough ggtranslate T_T
