This is the reason why I will only pay for these games when their fully released.

That brings another problem.What can guarantee that his muse won't change in 6 or 10 months and he wants to make another game?The last updates for FILF was taking approximately 3 months.Significantly more than the ones in 2018.And that is normal because the game become bigger and more complex.But probably same thing will happen with AD after the game grows to a certain degree.Juggling two game at the same time is not a joke.And always comes with the price with slower updates for both games.
I will give him the benefits of the doubt for this year and will wait to see how many updates of each game we will get.
I realy hope he won't just rush the ending of FILF in 1 or 2 updates.

Absolutely nothing.
That's why I see patronage as "I'm supporting this dev", not "I'm supporting this game". If patrons aren't willing to give money to the dev to follow his muse, and instead give money to a dev to support a certain game, they should pull their support if his/her vision diverges from what they wanted.
Unfortunately, the threat of this probably puts pressure on some devs, so they keep working on stuff they don't have a passion for, to keep the sweet Patreon trough flowing.

Well easy to fix the problem "working on stuff they don't have a passion for".
Make shorter games.Or concentrate on main cast.And only after you are done with them,only then add additional characters.
Otherwise we end with almost no content for the main interests/mom,sis,aunt/ in incest games.
And that happen quite a lot.BB,Milf's Villa,now Milfy City and to some extent FILF.

Smaller games are less interesting and attract less supporters though. If the scope of your game seems small right from the beginning, people are less inclined to support you financially. It's really not that simple to find the right balance.

Well even small and normal games can be extended quite a lot.Just see how long it takes for MP.For that much time we have DOD+christmas edition+3 part prequel.
The main problem is that it seems devs can't go more than 1,max 2 years working on 1 game.

Probably never... She passed about 9 month without any update and any news. The chances of continuing the game in the same wey as before suspending it are very small. Even if he continues it will rush him considerably to finish it as quickly as possible without scenes and content because to the development of the new game...

And then works at V0.3, and then works at V0.4 or has a problem for which he has to cancel the new date update, or other stories as most do that they no longer want to work on a game. It's been almost a year. He really couldn't make an update, even small in ten month... Ihope I'm wrong.
