I will give the guy props for that but what did he think was going to happen when he baited people with the tags.

If I had to guess? I think the dev considers previously mentioned games [where the characters are basically whores and you watch ur harem fuck other guys] as the norm. He probably didn't think much of it. And from what I see, I think he's ESL so I'm guessing he wasn't expecting our culture to be so different unleash a shitstorm from feeling baited with the incest/romance tags when everything is untagged voyeur.

What was the general rule? America really loves incest but hates ntr, eastern countries love everything?

Further explanation for those that care:Harem is supposed to be about love for a single guy, with that guy loving and having many wives (although doesn't exactly have to marry them for it to be a harem), yes can be more lust focused, but the basic thing is they are his and well only his. when they start fucking other dudes.... they are no longer his and only his thus are not part of the harem anymore, if it is fucking others on his request... then that is more like a slave/whore, so again not a harem.

The main character is a boring board of a man, and I have no interest in seeing him in the sex act.

If he were at least a futa it'd be something, but the dev cowing to this pressure is a recipe for a bad game.

Every scene the MC is in is skipworthy.

This might be the most Pepega thing I've read in awhile. Just because you find the male protagonist boring for whatever reason, doesn't mean everyone agrees with you. In fact I would argue the VAST majority disagrees with you. This is literally just you saying "I dislike male protagonists, and like futas, therefor how could anyone else find him interesting!? So therefore he should just be a voyeur!" At least I can agree that wholly remaking a game into something the developer dislikes is usually a bad sign.

Don't try to cheat your save, it will render it unable to save and then outright deleted from your folder.

P.S: my own preference, I like to play animated, even if its only 2~4 pics on a loop

In all my years of playing RPGM games I've never had that happen. I cant imagine any dev thinking it would be a good idea adding that as a anticheat mechanism, so question is how did he mess it up that bad?

• Harem [1 person being courted by at least 3 others, all engaging in consensual sex simultaneously.]

The tag doesn't require exclusivity, though I'd really prefer if it did.

you are one of the rare few these days that seem to know what a harem is and how they work and function(so tried of running into misused tags) so many now a days think anything can be called a harem just because it is a tiny be similar or so they think

huh, although I think in practice it does use proper harem, it is more tags being added when they shouldn't as games where it is sharing tend to get the harem tag removed if there is no true harem in it.

That being said could be better defined to avoid mislabeling. (same goes for NTR being used for netori)

but it doesn't deny exclusivity either and depending on how you seen it the 1 person being courted by at least 3 others kind of does but the sex part doesn't even makes sense to be in there as harems are exclusively sex or at least all of them having sex simultaneously really doesn't makes any sense at all as a harem has nothing to do with them all having sex together.

Also I think the site shouldn't be making it's own definition for a tag an stick with the original thing it was meant for as it just cause more confusion which was what like bobdillan said

It is properly defined on the site. No netori games, that dont have netorare as well, should be tagged as NTR ever. The issue comes in when users report the game as being NTR, despite it not being so, and whoever updates the tags doesn't double check. If you see this happen report the OP.

I wonder how this game will handle the assumed scenes in the long run? It would be a lot of work, running a check to see what mode the mc is in, rewriting scenes, etc. I hope this game doesn't follow the same fate as his other game.

I think just making everything optional, and not cannon if you choose not to pursue it would have been a good compromise.

Quite true, the little bit of pain now, and backlash will ultimately benefit the dev, because the game is very very barebones right now, and thus can easily be modified and fixed. (also multiple paths aren't as hard as people think, it can be as simple as checking for a single variable).

Some games have both. Typically it would be a choice path style game if it has both. That is what they meant.
