GOOD MORNING FELLOW CAMPERS!
I hope that y'all are having a great week, as well as a frightful October!
This month has certainly sped on past that I'm not even ready to enjoy the 31st yet (will be some cheeky movies on Halloween for sure). Alas, today though I'm doing a little public sit-rep just to show that I'm alive and that development is continuing to progress on-wards. I do appreciate that some of the followers for this game are respectably getting a bit impatient, especially with little being said on the current progress of this update, and for that I can only apologize. I am being a "busy bee" though as the saying goes.
These past few weeks a lot has been going on behind the scenes, which includes in my personal life; however, progress is continuing for the next release. I have in mind an intended release date, so hopefully if all goes well I'll meet that, which isn't far off. If that's the case, then I can in short due course hopefully tease that date to you all. We have got to factor in also that this update will need to go through the testing phase, before the release. So, when this update goes into beta, it'll give you the hint that the release will not be far off!
Doing teasers for these updates are always a challenge as I wish to showcase some of what's going on both behind the scenes, as well as in-game, without spoiling anything significant.
The next release will be version 0.05 Chapter 4: part 1. This update will be a shorter update, which is the sacrifice required to get an update out quicker, which means releasing the next chapter segmented, as well as doing various cuts to speed up the time frame, without sacrificing the quality. For the next update there are no planned animations (which take up a lot of time and are now a much lower priority on the list) and a few changes have been made to optimize this updates output speed.
Without "spoiling" anything this update is another more "linear" one (which reduces production time a lot), with two specific varied routes (one of which you need a condition met to be able to go down; otherwise, players will be directed the other route).
During this update there is some development, which without going into detail will begin to rattle the harmony of camp further. You, as the player have an idea on what will eventually transpire at camp; however, before that happens, the main character and those that she's with will be oblivious as the tension starts rising, before... it's too late. At this point the game will enter what I like to call the "finale" arc. In every game, just like a movie, or a story there is a beginning, middle and an end. I'd like to say that at this point we've transitioned into the "middle" segment of the game.

Well then imagine, in an alternate universe, that some dev is making the same game but from the pov of the dudes' camp.
