Starting the game?!? I thought the 1st sentence of the description was bad enough of a gut punch. Sheesh! It's a double whammy. Does that beam in your garage have room for another rope? :-(
I think 90% of the so-called "devs" forget this simple fact. The graphics should only start once the story is written. Or, at the very minimum, notes made. A replaces B. B has issues with A's blah, blah, and blah. B has to defend himself from A's enemies. B wonders WTF he got himself into. B starts to try to find out why A is hated by everyone and the plumber. B fucks anything that has a pussy. (wait, how's this fit into the story? make it less bloody fucking direct & actually work it into the writing.)
If only these dime a dozen devs would give the Novel part of VN focus, the rest would be easy.

That's pretty much a old trope from older (usually japanese) visual novels, which the wrong choices usually leads to a game over (seriously, there was an official evangelion VN which when I peeped Rei lead to a trial and then the world ended, NOT KIDDING).
Too many game over choices - also you need to get the English correct - When referring to a female / girl / Women use her or she not he or him, those refer to males
Game which has an excellent scenario, endearing characters and choices where you have to choose well otherwise... Game Over. Thank you for this game and good continuation.

the concept of the story sounds interesting, and a good game could come out of this. It sounds better then isekai into yourself in another world (multiverse swap), but while the idea is good.. it seems like people trying this game is not happy with the writing and pacing of the story.. and those 2 things are very important when telling a story. i hope you revisit the base of the game and maybe re-write or flesh out the story a bit more. good luck
The plot doesn't make any sense. And I don't mean in a porn way. This guy asks you to stand in for him for two weeks and you ask how you're supposed to fool his family. He responds that he and his wife are separated and he doesn't even go home very often anymore, he stays at his beach house.
So do you lie low at the beach house for two weeks? Nope, you immediately go to the main house and start talking to everyone. There should be a hook there. Maybe your twin sends you on an errand to get something from the main house or one of your daughters asks you to come over. Heck, you could even accidentally set fire to the beach house. Just some reason to get you to the main house and then some reason why you've decided to try to improve the relationship with all these women other than "because the story would be really boring if you didn't."
The MC's default name is Jonathan Kent. That is the same name as Superman's adoptive father. I wonder if this is purely coincidence or deliberate. The screenshots below show a side-by-side comparison of Jonathan Kent in "Fake Father" and Jonathan Kent in the TV show "Smallville." They don't look that similar, but I can see some vague similarities.
The age of the "very old man" of 45 in the game is probably accurate for the "Smallville" character given Superman's age in the show. Jonathan Kent in "Smallville" also often had health problems would normally be associated with much older people, so perhaps that is why he could be considered an old man.

From what the characters have said to the MC so far, I get the idea that the real father wasn't very talkative with his family, except perhaps with the eldest daughter. For instance, Lily repeatedly expressed surprise that the MC cared at all about how she was doing in school because he hadn't paid attention to her or her grades in the past. I suspect that this lack of interest may be why the real father's wife wants to leave him in the first place.
My guess is that the real father is going to get killed or kidnapped or something and that the MC will then truly replace him and take over his life.
Some of them don't make too much sense: So, for the dev, telling a daughter you love her is being a "coward", so is game over. Strange pov. Specially in this incestuous environment we are in.
For all people talking of bitching from the women, remember, the guy who the MC is covering for is a crime figure about to topple the whole outfit or betray them to a rival crime family, not to mention a complete uncaring @$$#0!e to most of his family - he pretty much drove his wife to divorce and doesn't care one bit, by his own words.
That when he gets authoritative on Lily over doing homework her reaction is surprise at the idea of him caring at all about her grades and how she was doing in school, as JHorcoc6pointed out, tells us of the heaps of neglect involved.
That is who the MC is playing body double (and meat shield, besides) for - not exactly conductive to flowers, hugs & kisses on first visit, you know.
All of that said, the MC is kind of a complete morontoo, if his reactions to the eldest sister's message serve as indicator....
