Ahh, time for another game to undergo a remake... How long will it be until we get an update to progress the story? Going by other games and devs doing the same thing, 1 year? 2 years? The sad part is, most of them aren't in need of a rework from the start. I can totally get reworking some stuff throughout, as long as it doesn't change anything major.
Now, if a dev has written themselves into a corner, or thought of something that makes more sense, then I'm pretty sure people would be alright if they admit it.
I was enjoying this, though I guess after this update I'll have to wait a long time before coming back to it.
This. I've lost count of how many games decide to stop progressing in favor of 'reworking' the current stuff, sometimes not even changing much. Some remove content entirely, some basically restart the story and hardly change anything. But it seems almost all of them, it's at least a year into the future before the story progresses in any meaningful way. It would be much better to keep progressing, even if it's a little less than normal, while reworking small stuff and either adding it in with the update, or saving it all until it is done and releasing it all at once. If it's the changes that the dev is saying, that the relationships with the girls feel too quick, then that could very simply be worked on and added with progression, as I doubt it will change much of the story going forward.

More recently, and I'm not bothered to go and grab screenshots, there is talk of changing the location of the game so more lore and some other details make more sense. So instead of being on the Japanese mainland, the game will take place on a fictional island off the Japanese coast
Why can't developers remake the game AFTER FINISHING THE STORY? I think I'll drop this shit until the normal updates come back

See, this is also the problem a lot of developers face, even if they don't remake the game midway through development. I'm not saying all developers feel this way, and those that actually wait till the game is complete before remaking it have a lot more patience and will... or something like that. Me personally... I feel as if it's kind of a lose-lose situation... well, maybe more of a lose-loseish one.
If I do go back and Remake what's establish, then I will be put into a spot where the audience, especially newcomers, will be unhappy having to wait for something for who knows how long... even if there is a lot of new content added to the previous stories/Chapters.
If I don't go back and Remake it, then a lot of people will likely be happy with the story continuing, but I personally would feel both happy to continue said story, but also really upset having to wait even longer to go back and fix things.
If some of you didn't know, the established story was based on zero scripting beforehand... meaning everything that you read was purely based on imagination, nothing was set in stone before endering or writing the dialogue, lol. That shit has slowly been taking a toll on my brain. If I go back and actually put things in writing before the Render/Scripting phase, then things might seem a bit better to me and maybe to you as a player. If I don't, I can still write out the story for Chapter IV and on, but chances of things not feeling right will likely be there because having to write after basing the story off pure imagination will feel a little... awkward.
I don't know, maybe none of this makes sense to some of you guys, and I don't fault you for it. Maybe I'll get more facepalm reactions because of what's been said, lol. All I'm trying to do, as I've said multiple times before... is provide you all a fun amd enjoyable game to play and remember. I'm not gonna keep pulling the "It's my first game." card with you guys, lmao... this game is over two years old now. I will never claim to be perfect, nor will boast that the game is perfect. If there's room for improvement, then it's something I wanna strive to improve for you all to enjoy more... a sacrifice... I'm willing to make.

But in all seriousness, I put them there to give credit where credit is due. Yes, they may seem long, and are initially unskippable (as described on the Changelog), but you can skip through them after first seeing them, including the Chapter and Act scenes.
If five minutes of giving credit to everyone that's either supported me, helped me, been there, or making sure the musicians and such get their credit is enough to blueball you....... that's the end of that sentence, lmao.

From my point of view when you remake start and add some new and do it equal as you see fit. What do you think? Forced replay? sure but on the other hand you give the P the feeling you are care and you want to make your game top. Or did i screw up? And when you rethink about it make your self plan. Railroad (what you did and what you want as end) Story speak and so one outside of scripting. So do your self a fav. Think and then akt. Cant say same of me... so let me get my face palm...;-)

I'm not Komi, lmao... I love Heroes Harem Guild, but fucking hell XD... No, I only planned on doing ONE Remake going back. After that, it's continued story from where Chapter IV picks up. Once the game officially ends, that'll likely be the actual end of it, lol. Not for the end of my dev days though... for I have another game in mind... this time, utilizing Honey Select 2

What sucks about it is that I used to support 13 back before they left the military. Then when they did the updates were so few and far between and only a couple including this one, now they're going to remake the game. So with how slow it was before I'm sure it's going to be just as slow or slower. Sucks I really liked the game but I honestly forget a lot of what happened because of the long gaps lol.

Oh trust me, I completely get it. For the record, I too hated how slow it felt not giving you guys the updates sooner as I hoped. But unfortunately, life has a funny way of showing its appreciation towards an individual, lol. My HOPE is that with the Remake, there will be a shit ton of content, but a lot more abundant in terms of release schedules. I'll be breaking them down into chunks like before. Regardless of how they come to be though, there will be some that will stick it out for the long ride, and those that wanna rip my head off for not giving them their Fall of the Angels fix... lol.

Believe me, I've thought about it long and hard, and now acting accordingly. How you all feel about it is a different story, one that will always be divisive. There's nothing against that! Just saying that I will always be put into some sort of losing position with the audience, lol

HS2 is unity engine. So i don´t know about Animation limit. and so on . Hope you don`t use telescope dick i saw on other ... last time i saw it was HS1... and it is wast of time? My biggest issue was no action with Jyn
. I haven't played the recent updates so I don't even know if this is true or not. Now I'm on the fence to even play it now because of the remake, seeing how things are going to change, well the whole structure in general.
