While using fall.out.exe and launcher.exe I am getting the error:
The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library \fallout-0-4-2\data\fall.out.exe

You may have clicked out of the game. the easiest way I have found for me (lenovo thinkpad) is to bring up the cheats first, then press F12, which is supposed to bring up the console, then just type what the cheats say, and exit F12, should implement your changes. for example: once you have the console brought up, type $cheat.openMemories()
you might also want to make sure it's full-screen, if you weren't, that might interfere with the console.
