You need to realize the difference between a triple A game with a publisher and a small porn game with a few enthusiasts behind it.

If this game doesn't sell Patreon slots, people can't get paid, the game stops existing and a lot of people wasted years of their life for nothing. Also, future developers of similar games will never take the risk.

If an AAA game doesn't sell, everyone gets paid then the publisher takes the situation post-launch into account and maybe scraps the sequels and expansions.

I got the same issue at the begining, after installing Steam Vr to launch it, it work.

i love how people defend them as AAA big h-game project when others say the project is a scam and wont sell on different censored MP versions just to come back and push the devs into the same boat with 500+ sales h-game indie devs to justify their holy rage against piracy.

there are 2 schools of thought concerning piracy....
one states plainly, a pirated copy is a lost sale, while the other one says, a pirated copy might result in a sale, that wouldnt be a sale in the first place.

sure devs can try to defend their product using denuvo and online verification...just deal with the consequences the community comes up with. seen enough projects gettin critique because they rather screw their consumers over than to use the money to develop something worth goodwill and future profit.

like everything in the world this cant be seen in pure black and white. if people would drop their bias and look at the facts...

but then again, i am trying to reason in an anonym online forum...


any bets how fast/slow "content"-updates will release in the next months because of "complications"?

e: also i doubt steam will be a good platform for this content in the future as they put more and more geo-locks on games with sexual content, first australia, recently germany, and who knows whats allowed on steam_china....

Speaking about geo-locks, is this game now moving from patreon to steam or do you get still an non-steam version if you are a patreon? Or do they go after the steam launch back to patreon and upload new versions?
I am asking because adult games are not available in steam in my country. If it is only on steam there is no way for me to play the game, except there would be a other stores where you could buy steam keys for this game.

they still can do it with a patreon verification, but i got the feeling that they are on very thin ice there too, so if they get kicked off patreon and cant reach people over steam and still try that multiplayer idea...yeah probably a bad business decision, cant tell you what happens in the future...

It doesn't count as a potential sale though. I can be as interested as I want.. IF I AIN'T GOT MONEY, I AINT BUYING. the vast majority of pirates, pirates BECAUSE it's free in the first place. NOT because they would've bought it, but found it for free.

I'd *much* rather buy it, it's fuckin easier frankly. But alas, ain't got that money to spare. If I had the money to spare, I'd buy it. Not pirate it.

Considering problems that may occur due to the specific content, why won't they try to actually find a platform, where such content wouldn't be a problem, and thus, there would be no need to make it into multiplayer? I believe there are such platforms, and I think one wouldn't have to look to far to find one.

There would still be a need for multiplayer regardless. It's not just for the sake of being able to put certain content in the game. Other things like DRM and a deal they've struck have been brought up as reasons for the inclusion of multiplayer as well. I personally think piracy is the largest motivator for them to do multiplayer.

well, the fact that they throw scenes out on their twitter and upload sites showcase the whole scene-viewer aspect the game offers...
double-down on that aspect with multiplayer instead of adding meaningful content with long-term grinding goals... in all my time observing games and kickstarter projects....thats a first one going this route.

even other h-games, that somewhat focus on gameplay mechanics instead of 200% scene viewer, throw out some content so people can do more than boot the "game" up for 5 minutes guilty pleasure.

that project feels already like its constricted in contracts and "just" a side-project of a hand full of graphic developers... i really hope they somehow get meaningful content.

My idea is that 4 player need cooperate to win
-The game is PVE (PVP is posible but i dont think anyone want to play as human LOL)
-The map has 2 specific location: Monster base & Human base.
-The map is also RNG, change some building location & stuff.
-Monster base is place for player to choose where to attack, bread more monster, change player monster type.
-Human base is very big, they build a wall around them with weapon to defense (like attack on titan), they have a lot of weapon, army, technology.
-They have awareness system (like stars system from GTA but this is permanent), each time sometimes happen, the human will raise how much defense, weapon they use (civilian will lessly going out) and how fast they develop their technology.
-Human also has progression, they will attack back player at some point.
-Human has rarity, higher rarity will bread stronger enemy but they very to capture, low rarity will do job that require they go out the wall a lot so they easy to capture while higher rarity only stay in some special building.
-The map also has other area with a variety for monster and other big monster that require a monster army to defeat (and player can change to them later)
-Player win by destroy human base, the goal is build the monster army to overwhelm the human.
-Player can level up (kill wild monster, human) but when player die, the level reset.
-Match start as player choose their monster type. The first goal is capture some human female to breed so the first monster impact gameplay the most:
+Low rarity Slime: Can sneak into human base through pipes to know human base (building, army location). This is kind of stealth monster type, he is god tier for capture when stealth but when not, even a child can hurt him. He very weak but he can stun the enemy so he easy to capture human.
+Tentacle: Long range attack type, use to counter human use weapon like gun. His gameplay is farm early (by killing other monster to level up) and attack some outside human.
+Zombie: Melee attack type, his role is the frontline for the team early. He play similar to tentacle, they are the core member to breed the army first because the breed monster level base on the player monster level that do the breeding while slime is like scout & if the player good, they can capture high rarity human early.
-Early game is about leveling up, capture some female (if 4 player capture too much, human awareness will raise), learn human base map, learn the map overall (where other high rarity monster spawn).
-Mid game is set up decent army monster for:
+Killing higher rarity monster so player can change to them (Doppelganger for disguised as human and can go into human base, Lizard for tankier with their skin, Minotaur for dealing with tank/vehicle army, Ogre for destroy the wall, Insect for flying attack, toad for acid attack,...)
+Set up some attack at human base to slow down their progress, hurt human economic.
-Late game is just get bigger army with more high rarity monster army & win before human can attack back.

that's quite detailed, you must've thought of that idea for a while. Sounds cool though. I feel like if more triple A companies realized that interactive porn sells, there'd be more of it. Only thing is that consoles are off limits and anything you buy appears in your inventory/status. I'd pay for porn games easily if they had a triple-A budget and a good vision behind them.
