New characters require a monthly contribution of over $95 to obtain. That’s absolutely ridiculous!
Am I missing something or it's not nearly that bad? Unlocking Talon in game costs 150NEP, which is around 19$ in patreon subscriptions. Granted, it's still outrageous, but not nearly as bad as 95$

I spent only $35 years ago when I was a patron. I have both Elizabeth and Celia, I skipped Juri since her since are meh imo. I like Talon more haha. Any other legit way to get them?
Been a while since I logged in but pretty sure they just give you an in-game mail with some currency for each character release, which worked up until the latest character, so just spend the currency you got for Juri on Talon?
Unless you already spent it hurrying up the dumbass grind... in which case I suspect Helius' position is "fuck you pay me another $19 to unlock a new model in the unfinished game you already paid $35 for."

well that sucks. I spent it mostly on Elizabeth’s costume haha. Lesson learned I guess. You can only get the cash currency if you’re a capitalist tier or above which is a whopping $135 CAD on my end lmao.
I guess I can’t get Talon then lol.
Really sucks that they changed the unlocks for each affinity tier this patch. I had my girls at lvl 2 to unlock pubic hair, but now pubic hair has been moved to lvl 4 so I'd have to grind to unlock it again.
It's a lot of money but idk, I've spend more on ships in Star Trek Online and I can't even fap to those.
The post on their Patreon page is misleading IMO. It says that Capitalist and above will be sent the 150 NEP to use on Talon, which is just how they fulfill the "six character passes" part of the rewards for Capitalist. Ie. they send you the money to buy the next six character passes. Since it calls out Capitalist specifically it does make it sound like you need to be Capitalist to get the NEP for Talon, but this isn't true. Talon is 150 NEP, 1 USD on Patreon = 8 NEP, so a pledge of $18.75 would get you enough to buy her pass. Naturally there's no tier that costs $18.75 so you'd have to do the $25 tier.

Same, although I just bought Liz and not Celia. I have the money that was meant for Celia saved for Galatea (yes I live on copium, don't judge me)

That's an understatement. The cost for one character model is more than 99% of adult games on Steam, it's pretty nuts. Especially when the game isn't anywhere near finished, has basically zero features other than playing animations and said animations are literally just a few seconds on loop without even a proper climax and no variation on most.
Combined total of $54 is maybe OK for something like Illusion titles where the quality is there and they foster community support to add even more content, but this?

I can’t believe STO still manages to get people to spend their money on ships. They had massive backlash after they significantly nerfed the way you can get free zen and destroying peoples builds. I actually sued them and got all my money back it was really bad.
This game make 35-100k$ a month.

Oh, okay. I’ll check later if I did get more NEP, I doubt it but better to check it if I have some lol. If not then I’ll just keep grinding for the weird insight. The solo play in the space station is pretty hot anyway

What do you think was one of the deciding factors of making it online only? To prevent people from instantly unlocking everything.
I'm just waiting until someone trains the new Hunyuan AI video generation model on Helius' content and then anyone can generate videos of the game for free with whatever character they want while Helius cries.
They already have gotten LoRa working recently for training new characters, sex concepts, etc. and the model is inherently uncensored towards NSFW content.
