Piracy isn't a problem with the always online stuff. He gets a lot of benefits out of the weird way the game is currently "released" and has no reason to move forward unless Patreon or Steam starts cracking down on him and neither of them have shown any interest in doing so.

Yea as long as he is getting people to pay him on patreon he will never release the game to steam,steam would take a cut of his profits.
Patreon take a cut anyway, the difference is that Steam isn't geared toward recurring payments so the game would have a (likely very brief) burst in popularity and then fizzle away.
It also opens Helius up to reviews which he cannot moderate, and would force him to accurately describe the game on both platforms (Steam's guidelines cover misleading advertising off-platform). Whereas now he can moderate the Steam community forum and his Patreon and Steam don't care about inaccurate descriptions of an unreleased game.

So, I just read their patreon tier descriptions and I'm a little confused. If I were to just pledge for a month, I would still have access to the beta when my tier runs out?
Why nobody has cracked that game since 3 years? Does it have a special protection that cannot be bypassed?

times have changed. if you're the first one to crack an even mildly popular game, you will make money off it (from what i understand).
so generally if a game is popular but isn't cracked yet, then yes it has special protection that cannot be bypassed
Could someone tell me if this game is worth it From what I've seen, it's a sandbox, FPS game with card and strategy elements. Does anyone know what else it contains? Or what other game would you recommend I buy :risilla:

From my understanding it's not much of a game currently (or maybe ever will be). The only implemented elements is a online-only sandbox sex viewer and a gacha system to unlock new sex scenes, or experiments as they are called.
Check out the harem mode in the existing crack and then decide if the sex scenes are worth your money. Be prepared however for a lot of grinding or shelling out more to get all the ones you want.
I'd argue you could get even superior ones. The only thing that VaM really doesn't have is the non-human stuff but even that could be changed with a few model swaps here and there.

Thank you so much for letting me know. Sorry if my English isn't very good, by the way, but I'll try some other options. Having to grind and spend even more money for a game that hasn't even been released on Steam yet seems really bad to me
