I'd like to remind people to REPORT THIS "GAME" TO STEAM as Helius is exploiting the beta testing feature of Steam to skirt past obligations and basically use the platform to sell a scam while having no accountability at all.
Honestly, this game needs a video essay about it, with a title like "The Biggest Scam in the Video Game Industry" or something similar.

A skilled YouTuber could showcase every lie from Scamlius in chronological order, using sources from this thread or articles in newspapers (e.g., the motion capture claims, developers from big companies allegedly working with him), and all the absurd statements he’s made.

The second part could focus on how terrible he is as a developer-worse than Yandev. Highlight the bugs, the shift to a barely functional gacha game, the need for a high-end PC because the game is so poorly optimized, servers breaking with every update, content resets, and months without updates.

Then, another part should cover all the illegal activities: issues with Steam, Patreon, misleading communication, lack of transparency about the game, and complaints being deleted.

The final part should encourage people to report the game to Steam and Patreon and promote the video to spread awareness.

Someone tried with steam already and steam dismissed the case. Not sure if Patreon's willing to take them down, nobody reported them to Patreon yet iirc

It was only one person. Imagine the consequences with a viral video, people laughing at the game state and hundred of steam reports...

There're a lot of viral videos going about mocking games with questionable business practice, but Steam's "live and let live" attitude didn't quite change, unless it's very fucked up and someone takes the case to court.

Even The Day Before, a well-known scam game that violated a lot of steam rules (there were a ton of videos on that), was eventually taken down by the game's publisher instead of Steam.

One issue with Steam is that they don't take action unless there's a lot of pressure, generally. So it needs a mass of people.

From time to time I check this thread to see if I can find a glimmer of hope (or a crack XD), but it keeps getting worse. It's a shame such a good project has fallen into disgrace.

dumb question, but does the cracked version recieve the new scenes or auto updates. Or would we need to download and crack every new version ?
games looks pretty promising quality wise at least. just curious because I saw that it was last updates a few years back but there's a new video of it on a website so I assumed new content was added

You're right, that was indeed a silly question. But I'm genuinely curious what made you think cracked games could auto update like legitimate copies on Steam. Can you name five examples of cracked games that automatically update themselves and receive new content just like officially purchased versions?

on this site, none.
but I do remember wow private servers which didn't require you to own the game did auto update on their own.
Haven't pirated much normal games, but some games came with an executable that would update the game upon execution, some incorperated that into the bat launcher script. but it's been quite a while since I pirated anything outside of this site due to how easy steam made thins. Only found myself pirate a few epic exclusives.

It just seemed strange to me that this was last updated such a long time ago despite all the comments on this thread, so I guess I assumed the best case scenario rather the less desirable truth
