I will be completely occupied by other things from tomorrow on. so don't expect to much from me for the next weeks regarding to cracking this drm thing. I'll try to work on it when I find some time, but these moments will be really rare. But feel free to play around with the this drm shit yourself. It can be fun and educational

tbh ive slowly started caring less and less about personally getting the new update cracked.....it's just fun reading about the problems you guys are encountering and how you guys are solving it.

Yeah, I'm just impressed at how an erotic game can lead people to have rather sophisticated conversation about complicated things like computer science and hacking #bonerpower

Like I said before, it's not the game that challenges me. It's the drm itself^^
As far as I read the game doesn't even have gameplay in it yet? If that's really the case, the developers really should rethink their priorities.
I'm a software developer myself and can kinda understand their concern about piracy. But I would NEVER EVER add copy protection measures

1. before my product even reaches beta state
2. that restrict the functionality of my product in such an unreasonable way (reduced performance, crashes, activation not working, forced to online activation, atificial obsolescence)

I'm no lawyer, but as far as I'm informed, as it is now, Project Helius wouldn't even be allowed to sell Fallen Doll to any country in the E.U. respectively its EULA and stuff would be completely void and the drm would probably violate applicable law.

Nothing like that. But E.U. law assures several rights to users, which may be violated by this drm shit. Also the contract law is kinda strict. Some time ago Valve (the coorporation that developed steam) was admonished just for not having a German EULA delivered with Half-Life 2. So it can be tricky.
But like I said earlier, I'm no lawyer. I could be wrong.

This means the drm won't be in the steam version i guess? Probably due to the restrictions I mentioned. And another reason for me to not understand why there is drm in an early alpha version of a product while even the finished version won't have this. That seems to be just ridiculous to me.

Nah this kind of DRM is just not compatible with the steam api, they would need to switch to something like steamstub+denuvo or another compatible drm solution.

Paralogue 0.1 is released. For anyone curious. It include a new map, new character Alet and a bunch of monster sex animations . Not sure if its because I have 1.31 activated or its a bug but when I run the paralogue.exe file the game just lanched and don't ask for any activation key.

This is most likely the case, he'll probably just switch to Steamworks DRM. It sounded like he didn't want to implement Denuvo, so it depends on how much pressure his publisher puts on him to. It also remains to be seen whether or not Steam actually lets the game on the platform.

There's ekc6420.dll in the Paralogue as I have it though I don't know if it can be shared with the drm it currently has.

Man they are a couple of FRAUDS.

So after waiting 6 months for the Paralouge build - we received a very mediocre and lacking in content build - after complaints from the community - Project Helius totally ignored all criticism and blocked users who complained.

Since he blocked me - I was unable to request a refund for the month of June (for which I received no content) - here is the message:
