Just read a patreon post. From my point of view, you are going in the right direction with that emphasis on the story. Keep up your audience interested and your game will be golden.
When it comes to animations, i really think that they don't matter as much as some people say they do - look at best vn on this site, yeah, they have animations, some even good, but what keeps people talking is THE PLOT, not a 30 second animation that adds nothing of value - like imagine spending 2 weeks doing animations that change nothing, instead of doing renders or polishing the game in that time...
From what i would reconsider, is a throuple route with Abby and Paige. Many people will be disappointed if it won't happen and what you need right now is a steady amount of new followers. I know, i know, it's your story brother, do it how you want it to be, that's what's important - staying true to your vision, but that one thing might be worth thinking about.
Keep up the good work and good luck. Hope i see this game on the first page

please add an option for text speed, slow text speed can be annoying to deal with and kill someone's patience and interest quickly

guh can't be bothered with it, I was excited since zombie stuff is my fav genre and it looked somewhat promising, but the lack of text speed option killed the mood really fast. Can't understand how basic stuff like that is not in a fucking ren'py game of all things. It's such a basic option. Sometimes I just don't understand what devs are thinking.
I am with Erkiengill09 on the animation part. Don't bother until you can generate real good ones and are able to intagrate them in a fluent workflow. Rather start out with slides and exploring all renpy options to manipulate them.
Stick to your vision and your style. Just be transparent about it, chiefly regarding the pace of updates, the pace of lewd progression and of course, regarding ntr. Communication and clarity are more important than letting yourself be driven back and forth by the wishes of the fanbase. Responding to wishes is good, but not to the point, where you no longer recognize your own vision.
I personally like good stories. With characters I can relate to. Easy faps are legion here, good stories are rare.

This a very good first chapter, even though it is a short (the length is akin to one of a prologue), there is a lot of tension, the art is good and the lights in the scenes really help the ambiance to set in. Great work man. By the way the songs are so good, especially the main menu song, what is its name ?

Thank you! The main-menu song is called “Falling Apart” ( That’s what I named it lol)I wrote the lyrics myself and then used Suno—an AI music generator—to create the melody. I did the same for the jeep track and the lo-fi ambience. All the other songs and sound effects you hear are from Epidemic Sound.

I try a lot of games. The ones I keep playing and supporting are the ones with a good story (or a great sense of humor). I can just go to pornhub if I need a quick fap. I want to be immersed and enjoy it like any other art form.
If you are good at animation, please reach out to Berkili4 (dev of Companion of Darkness), he is looking for animators for his game.

So true. Most anime MCs have this archetype already, but somehow we have to face this with a lot of AVN MCs too. Just downright annoying.

Well, I had a good time, it was was short, but definitely fun. I really enjoyed dark humour throughout, and the music was great.
Characters, especially girls, are wonderfully goofy in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, which was entertaining.
MC is a total badass - check.
As for the girls:
Paige, fiery, relentless, - love her, my type:
At the same time, Abby, - sweet & altruistic, running around trying to "save the world", bless her heart
That Paige vs. Abby dynamic? Curious, it will be fun to watch.
Weird moment: I completely missed the key icon on the car at the beginning. I thought it was a bug and the game got frozen, even tried it on another PC. Turns out I was the bug.
In summary: zombies, humour, music, badassery - I enjoyed it.
I hope the game keeps that humorous vibe and the "ridiculousness" keeps going (I mean it in a best possible way).
