I feel like people that complain about stepcest are really into incest fetish. So for them it's matter that characters are blood related. But in this story Mc thinks that female characters not his real family, so game doesn't indulge in this fetish. Storywise it's stepcest. And twist at the very end doesn't really change that.

So I made a simple patch, rewrite the dead mother dialog in intro.
I've made it ambiguous than a dead mother, after read people who finished the game that this game didn't need i-patch.
So this is not an ipatch. It replace 5 lines from the intro.
This is a soft I-Patch without changing story plot. Basically only removing the annoying Step-cest dialogs.

First patch upload: Change Intro. No more dead mother and step intro.

Update 1: It seem as I'm playing the game, there's MC dialogs about his dead mother. So I replaced those dialog with something ambiguous.

Update 2: I'm so annoying with Stepcest, so I'm replacing many, if not all dialogs mention Step relationship. No more, stepmom & stepsister. Your Dad, My Mother, My Sister when conversation between MC with sister as if they have different parents. Now this patch turn to an i-patch without changing the story plot.

Installation:
1. Extract Z_Patch.rpy to folder 'Game'
2. If you install my earlier patch, delete both *.rpy and *.rpyc. Example -> Not_i_patch.rpy and Not_i_patch.rpyc. Delete this file.

Would be a good patch, but judging by the examples given, the grammar isn't very good. Better to sit through stepcest with decent grammar than full incest with weird grammatical errors that take me out of the dialogue altogether.

I got to hand it to some of the reviews they're taking a Porn Game too seriously, like why? It's porn. Sure there are porn game out there that has a good story etc but at the end of the day its a Porn game. Like logic and porn don't mix all too well, its the reason we have NTR and snuff. Seriously, it should be reviewed on animation, render, images, game play if there are any, etc. With the story being a bonus if its good or bad but not the overall.

Is there a chance there will be a version for Linux?

You can copy files from a different Ren'Py game that has the Linux files, preferably a game with the same version, which you can find in the file script_version.txt in the game folder. There is probably a better way, but I've had to do this so few times that this works good enough for me.

1. Copy the lib/py3-linux-x86_64 directory over
2. In this directory, rename the executable of the file to whatever the .exe is called, without the extension
3. Copy the .sh and .py in the game's root over and rename those to whatever the .exe is called as well

Everyone has their preferences so everything is subjective what is hot and what not.

Just read through a few posts here or reviews and and it should give you are clear picture. The ending is very abrupt and sudden and leaves many questions unanswered. And yeah twist happens at the end as well so....yeah. Open ending xD

It comes down to enjoyability and a desire for quality.

Logic and porn absolutely mix, especially if you have standards and prefer to avoid all the low effort slop. Having interesting and compelling stories and choices serve to elevate the experience, just like anything else. Yes, even NTR. Solid logic is exactly what makes NTR have emotional weight when it's written well. Having meaningless or nonsensical sex in a game is the quickest way to bore me and make me lose interest.

If all you care about is nice renders and animations, why bother playing a game in the first place?

A patch doesn't make sense in a game that has this as a twist at the end. What exactly is he shocked about?

And personally I find this one focuses much more on the fetish than 90% of landlady-tenant slop that just does name swaps. It has entire convos specifically focused on the taboo. Like the gaming session with Hanna. Or the neighbor intentionally mentioning using a toy belonging to a certain someone and how good it felt because of that. And later the "sloppy" hug scene when daughter distracted the father.

It was doing it so blatantly, that I kept wondering why bothering to do step, when those scenes alone would be enough to get the hammer on patreon...In the end I saw why.

Can we please stop using mix drop, it is riddled with pop ups and impossible to download. Spend 10 minutes fighting pop-ups only to get invalid target id in the end. Using pop-up blocker browser get invalid target id from the start.

no problems here using mixdrop EVER....no popups, no ads, no issues what so ever....issue is probably something already infected into your system .

This is actually a good game, beautiful models and nice animations, pacing is kinda weird but for what's essentially a prologue it's not bad, hopefully this gets some attention so that we get the dlcs or seasons like the dev said.
