n00bi Okay whatever. Made it easier to delete the registry files of the game for me, because during the regedit search it kept going to the Microsoft fc.exe registry entries. So I downloaded another renpy game because the registry entries are always in the same location folders. You do it a different way. I don't care! Still my opinion it should be called familycrush.exe and not fc.exe. Also I'm not going to play the game again because it's final version and I played it full. Renpy games are like one time play and I delete the game on my computer along with its registry entries. Why you getting on my case? The whole Avast conversation, well I'm not an expert, so I made a uncertain guess. Plus it can be many of things of what triggers it. Though I don't have Avast or what not to even take an observation of what's happening.

So I made a simple patch, rewrite the dead mother dialog in intro.
I've made it ambiguous than a dead mother, after read people who finished the game that this game didn't need i-patch.
So this is not an ipatch. It replace 5 lines from the intro.
This is a soft I-Patch without changing story plot. Basically only removing the annoying Step-cest dialogs.

First patch upload: Change Intro. No more dead mother and step intro.

Update 1: It seem as I'm playing the game, there's MC dialogs about his dead mother. So I replaced those dialog with something ambiguous.

Update 2: I'm so annoying with Stepcest, so I'm replacing many, if not all dialogs mention Step relationship. No more, stepmom & stepsister. Your Dad, My Mother, My Sister when conversation between MC with sister as if they have different parents. Now this patch turn to an i-patch without changing the story plot.

Installation:
1. Extract Z_Patch.rpy to folder 'Game'
2. If you install my earlier patch, delete both *.rpy and *.rpyc. Example -> Not_i_patch.rpy and Not_i_patch.rpyc. Delete this file.

Ipatch for this game is complete nonsence. Let yourself be carried by the story and you will find that you don't actually need it.
Everything will be explained and turned around.

"Soft i-Patch". The patch didn't change the plot at the beginning that MC become Vanessa' son or the brother to the sister. It's only 'erasing' words Stepsister to sister, stepmom to mom, "Where's Your Mom?" to "Where's Mom?". MC will say Vanessa isn't his mother on many dialogs.

To check if the patch installed or not, if in the Intro say...
"My mom passed away when I was a child." ... then the patch failed for some reason, idk what to say.
If the Intro say ...
"What's a mother ? ... I was raised solely by my father." ... then the patch is installed.

But again, I did not change the plot that MC is not the son of Vanessa and not the brother of the sister.

What NONSENSE is to hear step sibling addressing each other with "Step". Those only happen in Porn video. In real life, step sibling called their step brother and step sister with just Brother and Sister. Stepson call his stepmom with just Mom.

I completely agree with you, so what you did is not an i-patch, but a correction and a light rewrite.
On other hand, I think the excessive use of "step" in this VN is a bit intentional, to make the conclusion even more exciting.
