if subscribestar goes the patreon route, are there other sites that won’t follow suit?
It’s the credit card processors that are applying the pressure so I’ve read. The whole thing is ludicrous. Heavy Metal doesn’t cause suicide and pixilated characters don’t turn people into violent sex fiends. Child labor still exists in several parts or the world, but this is the focus. WTF

I am always wondering about devs like this, he had planned release to drop before september ending, then it took slight longer which is fine but when you are off by over a mounth, was the september release ever possible or did the game delete itself to the point of starting from scratch but is to embarrased to aknowledge it to his fans.

Because if a week before september end it was possible to achive then add a 150 work hours in october and to have achived the orginal goal he would need to work 6,5 full days the last week o_O which are physically impossible

Sometimes you've gotta just put the pins and red strings aside and try to understand that people are fallible and actually have real lives that don't always coincide with other people's wanking schedules.

Well ye fair enough as i said, but lets assume he does this full time, he dosent have another job as far as i know, then it would be fair to assume he works average hours on the game at least 6 hours 5 days a week right? Ofc if something irl has happened which makes him unable to work a mounth thats also fine, but he hasnt said any news about any of that sort..

But maybe its a mistake to look at creating a game as a job then and its more like a hobby which u do when u feel like it?
Then i would understand that it take longer time at some point when u just dont feel like it.

But if i where to compare it to my normie job if i was gonna finish something within 2 weeks and instead used 6 weeks on it i would need a really good reason and most likely get a big scolding for even beeing so off schedule

So this wasnt a post to be angry about updates beeing slow but more a question why sometimes can dev be off by such big time.
Makura Soft Dev said his game was 98% complete and would need just 14 days more and it took him around 1 year and 6 mounths to finish that, but is it even possible to be so far off in a estimation?

All the orange text is where you allow your assumptions, postulation and judgement to interfere with your ability to allow another person to live outside your experience and expectations. Fact is, none of us know what the heck is going on, nor should we expect or presume to know. At some point one has to be content saying simply, it's that way because it's that way.
I get that you're not upset and appreciate that. I've just found it's helpful to me when I realize other people have lives, reasons, and schedules that I don't and will never understand.

I believe that developers working as a team of 15-20 people rather than just 1-2 people in a house or studio will yield faster results. I don't think these are the only games these people are working on. They may be working on other programs, other stories, other performance enhancement projects, and other stories they are developing. Furthermore, the more people there are on the team, the shorter the time it takes to complete the work. There are many games, and it doesn't make sense to compare them with each other. In some games, rendering times vary depending on the computer used, and the process can be shortened or lengthened. Or it is directly proportional to how fast they use the Daz3d program. Some developers are more proficient with the program, have better computers, work with larger teams, and receive updates quickly. Others may be working from home, perhaps on a single computer, with more limited knowledge of the program, and if they have other tasks to do, they can hit a real bottleneck. It's important to remember that life is a marathon. When I make a two-week plan, I start deviating from it before even reaching the second day of the first week. When it rains, I have to drive to work instead of riding my motorcycle, and my commute time increases by about 20 minutes because I spend a lot of time in traffic. There are variables in life, and sometimes questioning them can mean questioning life itself.

Ye i usually say assume, since i cant actually know about others, its like trying to put yourself in other work places you can assume how it is based on looks and storys but you can only know if you actually tried that specific job yourself.

So most life you will assume stuff based on knowledge you have :D
My knowledge in game devolopment is low and also for tech , but i still wonder when things are very off , how that can happen.
Kinda like a big project in my country where they estimated around 100 million dollar to create a big underground parking lot for politicians and somehow the price ended up like 300 million dollar, ye i get that it can be slightly off like 30% + - , but when its off by 200% i start to wonder how its possible to get it that wrong :D

Hmm didnt know most that, thanks for info :D, ye i also tend to forget that not all people are wizards on computers ( all people look like genius on computers compared to me lol )

I'll be honest. I'd support him financially if he continues the Mateo route. That shit was awesome! The bathroom scene! Incredible!
The dev clearly has a large interest in it, idk why not just work on the route with the most progress... Who knows. Though some more NTR/swinging would be great. I could imagine a movie night with the MC, Lily, Angel, and Angel's Dad. I know its not for everyone but given all the renders that are NTR/NTS clearly the dev wants to push that far more than the regular route. Or that's just the bias from the one's I've seen.

He already explained it. The mateo stuff creates a huge branch in the story and the dev doesn't want to work on 2 routes at the same time. Which is smart because the updates already aren't that big and it would only increase the wait time between updates. The dev also said from the very start that the NTR stuff was never meant to be the main focus of the game.

Weekly Update #82

Hello everyone! It's time for an update!

First of all, I'm sorry for the absence these last two weeks. A lot has been going on in regards to my content, that I needed to figure out what I should do going forward. As many of you probably already know, as I keep saying it myself, Family Faring and content alike is getting more and more difficult to advertise and release on other websites. With payment processors having a say in what you as a customer should be able to spend your money on, fewer websites are willing to take the risk of having the payment processors blacklist them. As such my page was shadowbanned for almost two months this time around, as my content was deemed too high of a risk. So a lot of changes had to be made to get my page back on and running once again. These changes aren't all finished yet, and more changes are to come. Hopefully, these changes will suffice in keeping my page safe from scrutiny in the future.

As I mentioned last time, my page can no longer display images of certain characters as they are deemed problematic for SubscribeStar. However, over the last week, a new issue has occurred, my links. These links are also deemed problematic, so any download links to Family Faring or Renders of the Week will henceforth no longer be available on any future posts. The solution to this will be a private message to all subscribers at the time of release with a download link to said content. From now on, while I will still make posts to keep you guys updated and ensure you're all notified whenever something new happens, no download links will appear in any of my posts. These downloads will either be found within private messages upon release, or on my own website.

Previously, you could only gain access to old Renders of the Week on my website, now you will be able to gain access to not only Renders of the Week, but download links to the latest release of Family Faring as well. Simply head to the Royalty tab and login with your SubscribeStar account to see the content there.

I know this change is confusing and very annoying, it is for me at least, but it's sadly the only solution that I was given, if I wanted to keep my page running. You won't lose any of your benefits, and you will still have access to the same things as you did before, there is just an extra step in getting to that content now. Again, I sincerely apologize for my absence, it's been a very stressful month, and I hope to just move forward as I did before.

As for the development of episode 9. The first sex scene is now complete, and I've now moved on the the last sex scene before moving on to post-processing and sound design. I've been a quite slow recently, due to a huge lack of motivation and a little bit of despair. But with everything hopefully in the past now, I can start picking up the pace.

That's it for this week. I know these things might seem a little confusing right now, but hopefully with enough time the new way of things will clear up and make sense. If you have any question, please don't be afraid to message me or comment down below. Anyhow, thank you all so much for the support, it has really helped me out a lot during these two months.

Seems more like focused on 1 daugher. But I'll wait patiently on update. Still sad the Mateo update isn't going to happen for a while.
I think he said it was supposed to be focused on both of them but I could be wrong. I just wish that he didn't spend so much time on side characters. We could have a lot more content with the main girls.
