I've been following the game since the very first release before the remake. NTR had nothing to do with the game's popularity. In fact the game would probably be a lot more popular if it didn't have that tag. A lot of people when they see that tag, won't even try the game even it's 100% avoidable.
That was before the remake, since that scene required a lot of renders the dev decided to remove it so he could finish the remake faster. But he said that he will add a similar scene in future updates.

Exactly. I won't lie. The Lily & Mateo path was the only path I care about. It's the best fap material IMO.
Yep, and when I read that is when I stop subbing. If it's going to be years till Lily & Mateo path is finished then he can wait on my $$. To each their own. The ones that despise NTR paths and love vanilla can support him through the canon path. Everyone has their own fap material they like. It's all about likes & dislikes.
Yep, which is why it was a bait and switch early on. Oh well. If it comes out then it will be good.

"A lot of people..." The phrase used when trying to make your point without any data at all. Given the number of NTR themed games on this site - a simple search will provide that data - it is a safe assumption that NTR is very popular. Devs wouldn't make it if it wasn't. The anit-NTR crowd is very vocal, but that does not make them a majority. Again, look at the number of games. Regardless, this game did go off the rails when the Dev abruptly shifted gears. It was jarring. I too stopped subbing long ago once he decided to remake it out of fear of the pixel police. So, the original poster made a blanket statement followed by your blanket statement. Somewhere in the middle you are both correct, but it is a wild claim that "NTR had nothing to do with the game's popularity."

There are also a lot of games with AI art slop coming out, does that make them popular? I think a better metric is how many people actually end up supporting those games and if you look at the top games on patreon you don't really see many of them and the ones that have content like that it's almost always optional. So yea I don't think NTR had a huge impact on the game's popularity.
But it's kind of pointless to debate those things here since the mods will end up deleting these comments for being off topic

That's a heaping dose of copium you got there pal. NTR had everything to do with the game's popularity. How many games out there has Dad MC and Daughter NTR? I'll tell you not a lot of them. Writing is subpar, renders are fine, models are meh. Only thing this got is the ability to let the Mc's daughters get dicked by other men.

What made the game popular was the content that was not allowed on this forum lol. But if you want to believe that it was the NTR that is fine.

We don't talk about it. This thread has been locked and people have been banned for trying to evade it. But sure if you wanna go there the whole the subtext that it's daughter NTR should have been obvious that this VN had both and that virtually nonexistent anywhere else.

Hello everyone! It's time for another update!
It's been a long time coming, but episode 9 is now days away from release. Yesterday I just finished the last animations for the episode and can now move on to editing the images, after that I just need to add the sounds and music. Then once proofreading is done, you can expect the episode to be released. If everything goes as planned, the episode should be ready some time next week.
Since we're this close to release, let's talk about what you can expect to see in the next episode. With 9 animations, almost 900 images, 2600 lines of script, and a new fun little mechanic for the future, episode 9 rapidly moves the main plot forwards with long awaited scenes happening!
As for the new mechanic, you can now unlock the ability to sell images you take to gain more money throughout the game. Beware though! Some people might not like the idea of you selling pictures of them!
Anyway, that's it for this week, I'm excited to finally have this episode out for you all to play. Thank you all for the support!

What good will earning more money do us? If we keep going down the path that keeps more money in our pockets from the start of the game, we're already on the NTR route. In that case, I'd like to ask what the advantage is of having more money in our pockets.???? I mean, we're making money, but there's nowhere to spend it. It's very interesting that he hasn't thought of this in nine episodes...
