Ren'Py - Family, Friends and Strangers [v2024.01] [JohnAndRich]

There's plenty of scenes which is good, but the story is just about abusive people getting away with degenerate shit. The MC will just go along with everything presented to him by the antagonists in order to give the viewer more to look at and with no route for revenge it's a completely pointless story. I don't know the current state of this project but it used to have a few choices which means it's not a Kinetic Novel, but those choices amounted to "see more stuff" or "see nothing and get screwed over (game over)." So the choices were meaningless regardless. However, now it appears to be listed as a Kinetic Novel. That means the story will go only one way and you will have no say in what the MC does. So unless you really like the characters who are written to be cardboard cutouts of victims, pussies, or antagonists, this is pretty much a pointless story for people who just want to jackoff and can't get access to pornhub for some reason.

Complete and total waste of time this was. It starts off good in the early chapters, but once they stop showing you scenes between the mom and the cop, it falls off a cliff. Becoming a boring teen romance and a chauvinistic tale of men telling women's stories. It's told entirely from one of three male perspectives. The son, because of course it is. The asshole cop, because we're always put into the minds of the creeps, but only if they're male. And for no good reason at all, the son's friend. Never the mom though, she wasn't important enough to be given any internal dialog that would show us what she's thinking or feeling through her ordeals. None of the female characters get the privilege of having thought processes in this game. Only the three aforementioned men. The mom's story arc is told from the POV of the MC and the cop. The sister's and girlfriend's story arcs are told from the POV of the MC and his friend. The reason I give this 2 Stars and not 1 is because I liked the mom's design. She's got curves and a nice bush. Best of all, she wasn't the only woman with a nice amount of pubes in the game. Pubic hair fans know how rare it is to find these. I also loved the fact that she's a teacher. A female character who's both a mom and teacher with an appropriately mature looking body is a winning combination. But they lost hard when it came to giving her the benefit of character development.

Mh the beginning of this game was really great. The blackmail from the cops, the corruption pace. But then things got a little shallow and the story arc was stretched, taking away a lot of the excitement. Its a bit sad, the game and story had a great premise and lots of potential but it just couldnt really deliver over time. I will see where this goes, but atm this game is quite mediocre in most aspects. Good luck though.

I'm glad I didn't try this game 2 years ago when I got a recommendation. It would be really hard to wait for the next update and the one after and the one after...

Like somebody said before: god tier writing! At least, if one's fetish is humiliation.
But it has also really romantic parts (what I also enjoy).

Now, all that's left is to finish the bad guy route. I hope it will include awesome public humiliation of B ... But if not, all the rest already justifies rating with 5 stars. One of the rare gems of this genre.

Btw, the crash of gallery should be fixed.

Solid writing, decent animations, nice looking models. Pretty solid all around. I like the evil route, really interesting perspective. Looking forward to the next update, it has a lot of potential. I hope we get some Becky content soon.

Sometimes you are expecting something, and just because of your own expectations you are left behind. That's kind of what happened to me here.

I read the synopsis and I felt intrigued, but I thought it was going to be a 'game' or at least an AVN where you get to make choices on how far these things would go. Sadly, it wasn't such a thing.

My expectations didn't allow me to feel fulfilled with this great corruption story. Still, this is highly recommendable, though I might have to warn you, It's a bit unnerving at some points, but it is also very easy to find yourself inside this world.

Would have loved having more input, but that's more of a me thing rather than a problem. I look forward to see what the devs do after this

Fantastic game overall I give it 4 stars. The story is god tier and the corruption path is just perfect. Please let Parker win everything and fuck everyone lmao (im biased)

The burning question surely is:- is it worth your time?

Yes. But...

This is a kinetic novel but there is one major decision at chapter 9 which will branch and change the direction and outcome of the story.

One route is to take the moral high-ground and the other for those of questionable morals.

I took the latter and have to say (despite that that route is currently still in development) it is far stronger than the other. It's clear, to myself at least, where the effort has been directed.

That aside, I have to give props to the dev (or the team), and that it is clear that there's a decent enough level of understanding how story craft works - and in the context of AVNs it stands out. There are even examples of thematics being explored although these are dropped depending on the route you take. It doesn't preach to you.

Don't get me wrong, you do really have to suspend any disbelief - the inciting incidence is wild, but get passed that and it's a good story in the 'adult' world.

What about the LEWDS?! There's plenty, and the MC gets enough action - especially if you have questionable morals, right?!


I also think the story could be bulked out more without it being filler.

The lewds are animated, a little bit stiff, but they are decent enough and not too rushed.

As for those worried about the NTR, maybe I don't understand the tag, but I didn't see it on either path. But my impression of NTR is being cucked and seeing your partner getting railed?! And just to edit, NTR is not my cup-of-tea at all.

I mean, you do see other people banging other people, but meh, that doesn't really bother me. But, I guess if you want to see all wahmen be yours only, then you might find it annoying.

Lastly, there are a few niggles here and there, but nothing that distracts from the fun.

It's a fun kinetic novel with plenty of content and some nice lewd vanilla scenes.

I might have only offered up three stars, but it is good. But, one of the routes is pretty poor compared to the other and the novel isn't finished yet.

I should have probably written a review when i played it in March but oh well. I think it is one of the most unique game out there with very realistic storyline and plot progression. I think the only reason i'm holding myself from giving it a 5 star rating is because:

I can't in good conscience give this 1 star but this is not a good game or kinetic novel. First of all I would like to clarify, this is straight up NTR, no "depends on your definition", most of the girls around the main character gets fucked while he watches and gets almost 0 action, only getting a BIT at the end. The story is extremely long and drawn out, completely on rails and has very few scenes and a very uninteresting story that makes little sense. Parker (MC) sees his mother get groped and sexually abused and decides to somehow team up with the abusers later to watch them fuck more women in his life. The only reason this doesn't get 1 star is because of the effort put in and the decent graphics. This game/VN is bad though and is straight up NTR/sharing when the developer tries to pass it off as "ehhh you wouldn't be a COMPLETE cuck to enjoy this"

Started out strong with the Mum getting strip searched and some of the things with the Girlfriend were promising like the photo shoot, but it quickly nose dived into endless filler chats with the boring son and seemingly random people never really delivering much else after the early *hook the viewer* scenes. I have no time for horny teenage boys or their magical ability to land women that are far to good for them in these adult games, I've been through that phase already thanks, its just not believable writing either. Perhaps just take the focus off the son and his nerdy friend so much and put it on the Mother and or his Girlfriend more please, atleast thats my take but I prefer female protagonists or ACTUAL successful good looking men that could attract a beautiful female not boys...Nice art though and the Girls are Pretty. 3/5

I was shocked at how good a corruption story this was. While this doesn't have the tag itself, that is what the heart of this kinetic novel is about.

Both of the MC, but also of all the women around him, who are manipulated into fucking him or the other corrupting men (two police officers) in this story.

An unexpected delight. While really a kinetic novel, there is ONE branching choice that matters as far as I can tell.

Really good kinetic novel. Great renders, story, dialog, plot! Would say that some renders are getting outdated and some remaster would really help to bring this novel into very high standards, but overall it is still good.

Would say that mid-way through the game the story loses focus and starts to quiet down on any kinks/fetishes and tries to go into vanilla mode, which is bit of shame, hence good rating and not excellent.

this game is one of the rare ones where the more you play the game, the better it gets. better plot/story plus H scenes are more "erotic".

the reason i tried the game because i saw the picture of cops molesting the mom of MC and i imagined it going to a different direction, so i was a bit disappointed and thought the game will be bad. but it just got better and better, because the writer wanted to keep the game as realistic as possible while still doing interesting stuff.

about H scenes:
-MC and his gf mostly vanilla stuff, slow building up.
-corrupt cops who use blackmail to get what they want.(grope, sex, bj)
-some occasional getting turned on by MC to his family members but no hard incest so far (i am so far at 9th part of the game out of 13th)

i expected the game to be more hardcore and more incest but due to the story i was still satisfied even though i don't like games with too much reality since i am here for the "porn".


had to have been written by a woman because the erotic scenes get increasingly more hotter and she knows the pacing. or a very rare breed male gj to anyone who did it, it's quite unique in the way the story unfolds. i expected way more boring chichés but the story didn't have clichés (maybe only some characters were 1dimensional) the story was interesting but nothing overly "special/hardcore". it was just simply a good/interesting story.

This is by far on my top 5 games. And I've played most of them, and a lot.
There is a special thrill, that come up in some of the moments. No other game has been able to do it for me.
Towards the end the games becomes a bit more dull, but its overall really great.
There is a lot of very good character work. I like the scenes, but you can find similar quality in other games.
There are basically 2 main lines of script, but still its fairly long.
The cops characters are a bit dumb, but it might be not so bad.

i prefer rpgm or sandbox style adult games over VN/KN even if it involves quite a bit of walking, door opening or various sorts of grinding. just reading and checking the visuals makes me feel disengaged and bored after a while...unless the story is really interesting, captivating, the writing is superb and there's a good bit of humor in it. i really can't believe the hours i have binge-played this KN. my only small complaint would be the lack of separation of music and sex sounds. i was slightly disappointed by the simplicity of the animations at first either, but later on in the game they got much better. all in all an unforgettable game with a story centered on blackmailing, one of my favorite topics. in the remaining part of the "i'm in" route, i hope to see more of melissa, the cutest and sexiest female here, but whatever is thrown in, i'm sure it will be another great ending. already looking forward to the next game from the dev(s).

This is a great game kinetic novel. The writing is solid, and the story all comes together well. The two main female models are both very attractive, quite a bit different from each other, and from other females in the game - I think they nailed the innocent redhead and curvy milf looks for those two. Most of the other females are pretty bland/standard looking, but that's OK.

I like that they offer the one branch point, with the one branch being completed. The story is still progressing on the branch that I find more interesting. I'm hoping they develop more humiliation/degradation content as that proceeds.

I know this wanst meant to be a game but a story but it would be nice to have chooses so you could make your on path with the different girls but o well the story wasnt bad a bit basic but good. Overall the game was ok .

A game that never figured out what it wants to be. A kinetic novel (but not really, there are two storylines), it pretended hard to be non consensual NTR (but never was one), slowly grew into sharing/sell your girlfriend type of the story. Was started years ago, so renders are average. If you like sharing, you might like the game. Otherwise not so much.

Also, keep in mind that there are about five sex scenes in the entire game and MC loses virginity in chapter after 10, so don’t hold hold your breath for much wanking time.

And if you come for the NTR, here you will find none.
