Just finished the game, and have to say still think its top notch. That said, fck the dev for ending it on such a nerve wrecking cliffhanger and then making us wait so long to see an update lol. All jokes aside, this is one of the better VN's i have played yet even though there is only one actual sex scene so far if we don't count BJ's, still an interesting story and i highly recommend anyone to give it a go who is still on the fence about it.

Hopefully not too long of a wait though, devs patreon said the next release is expected sometime this week so we will hopefully see then how it all gets resolved and hopefully the girls are ok

We are having the same taste you and I it seems.... I am also following this game. The plot is interesting... I hope that in the following days the next chapter will be ready as promissed by the developer.

It's just the typical: someone blaming a game for their own inability to succeed. Just go to any games forum where people talk about anything in the Dark Souls games and you'll find people just like this. I mean, it's totally ridiculous that there's no save option in the game so you can just reload and make different choices. That's especially true because this is done in Ren'Py!

(That's sarcasm in the last two sentences, to clarify for any folks reading this who can't tell.)
